It's fast, even on my 12-year-old PC. I use it to recover my 2TB external HD drive. I can see the files (names of the lost files are correct- other such software uses "File XXXX, and you don't know what file is all about), the tree structure of other maps and submaps are in correct order, as it were, when the external HD was in order and working.
