"Great for Real Time & 3D Mapping Solution"
3.5/5
What do you like best about DroneDeploy?

The best part is that DroneDeploy is continuously updating and enhancing features more and more to suit the user's requirements. The support team is always ready to hear, understand and suggest appropriate ways to accomplish them at either end. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?

At times, the data captured is either more or less than the designated flight plan, although it's good when it's more but really a trouble when it's less than the desired one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Using AI to Monitor and Manage Construction Production Tracking - Wow, the Future is Here Already?"
4.5/5
What do you like best about DroneDeploy?

1) The snapshots of the whole project that we can keep stored in the Cloud, which preserves the condition of the project at the time of the picture-recording. So, later, if we have a damage on a wall we have completed, then we can prove that the work was completed per plan and per schedule, but another trade damaged our work once we stepped out of that area we've completed. So we wouldn't be doing the work again for free, but have the GC backcharge the offending party and pay us to redo the work.

2) The Artificial Intelligence tracking of our work. We are a metal stud framing & drywall company, and Structionsite can pick-up the metal framing, the drywall (layers of drywall), the taping, picks up the soffits and ceilings separately... We find this to be extremely useful and getting accurate production tracking, instead of a percentage average from foremen, which we can't rely on 100%, is difnitely a step up. Having an accurate production of our completed work helps us to stay on top of our projects. We also like that the information is current and not out-of-date. And saves us time and manpower, especially the superintendents and PMs and PEs, as they don't have to visit the site as often, and lose precious time driving back and forth from the jobsite. It really is the Artificial Intelligence that is picking up on the metal framing and drywall boards put up. I am still baffled as to how the AI is able to distinguish the difference, but we are very impressed!

3) The analytics. Great help in tracking accurately, and I don't have to do any math on the side or run some long calculations on a spreadsheet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?

1) The field users complain about the Memory Storage of the camera. My guys basically wanted to be able to walk the whole job (may take the whole day) and be able to just walk it as 1 continuous walk, which they were not able to. Sometimes, we run out of "digital" space on the camera and have to stop the camera, end the session, and restart a new session. However, I believe the newer cameras have more memory now and might not be an issue anymore. No real complaints about Structionsite app itself. Once our team figured out how to use this app, no complaint.

2) Like anybody else with almost anything in the business world, I can use a cheaper price. You did give me a discout, which my team appreciates. =) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ease of use is the best part. You can use it on every platform as well (android, apple, Microsoft, etc.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?

The only thing I dislike about Structuresite is I didn't know about it sooner. I find new uses for it on every project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"StructionSite Experience"
5/5
What do you like best about DroneDeploy?

I appreciate the selection of filters when viewing/exporting plan sheets. The UI is very simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?

I initially had a hard time figuring out the "Tag" function. I kept trying to create a new tag from a specific photo or plan sheet until I realized I needed to add a tag from the project overview page and then go back to the sheets. It would be convenient to add a new tag while viewing a specific pin. Most if not all of the issues I've had are related to an error or "bug" on the back end. For example, the StructionSite servers were down, the platform wouldn't allow me to remove a tag, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Jared Woodard's StructionSite Review (DPR Construction)"
5/5
What do you like best about DroneDeploy?

One of the best options is ability to access the timeline of the photo pins. In construction, you can view progress, QC, and verify installation procedures with photo times. I also like the feature of combining pins. When you are taking photos and accidentally make a new pin you can combine the pins to your liking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?

There has been issues where my photos didn't publish online and were lost. However, the awesome structionsite team was able to recover my photos within 48 hrs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"best software for the construction industry. a great tool to save time."
5/5
What do you like best about DroneDeploy?

You can see the photos on a plan and do not have to take 100 pictures and categorise them. You can take a 360 image that is attached on a plan exactly showing you where you are and what the surrounding looks like. Fabulous. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?

The only drawback is downloading the drawings from structionsite one by one and no functionality to do a mass download. Hopefully an update in near future will resolve this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Use and learn"
4.5/5
What do you like best about DroneDeploy?

First of all the training videos are SOOOO helpful; as a first-time drone user, I had no idea how to do anything. The "creating flight path" video was incredible. Drone deploy has impressive capabilities to stitch photos together of huge areas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?

The setup for organizing/creating projects in drone deploy desktop is not easy to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
