Very intuitive and extremely easy to use without sacrificing any quality whatsoever - of all the software I've ever used in my life, this is the easiest for me to recommend. It works right off the bat. As far as software goes, it's also very reasonably priced. No recurring fees or updates that change everything (like Premiere).

They're also just a legitimately good company. When I needed to refund a license after a project went awry, they gave me a full refund two weeks after their return policy was up. Not everyone does that!

Dragonframe is a very simple but complete stop-motion animation software allows you to create high quality stop motion animations with many tools and features.

I had the opportunity to use Dragonframe during workshops with children, and I must say that I found it very comfortable. I noticed that the children found the software very easy and intuitive to use.

I was kind of skeptical regarding its functionality (regarding performance) on Linux-based distribution. I use Ubuntu, and to my surprise, the software worked without any hiccups. I was able to test out the features without any problems. Also, absolutely flawless work by developers in respect to making the software cross-platform. I did not experience any lags. I wish there were fewer restrictions over the trial period, i.e, regarding Camera RAW formats. Moreover, instead of providing documentation in "question/answer" format, I wish there were detailed descriptions of the features given by Dragonframe in an adequately documented manner. It's a personal opinion of mine as you don't always look for answers to specific questions, but you want to explore the features. Restricting documentation to "question/answer" somewhat limits the area of exploration especially when you're trying out different working techniques. Otherwise, there's nothing else to dislike. The intuitive graphical interface is extremely efficient in programming rich and comlpex camera moves. I also loved the fact that it comes with varities of keybindings (hotkeys) which makes the working on animation easy as most of the features are under the fingertip so I don't have to make extensive use of mouse for any sort of feature implementation on the objects.
