The integration between modules is what we're after. Enter the data once and then use it everywhere.

Some menus/applications are clunky for non-Accountants. I know this is improving in 8.2 (we just upgraded to 8.1).

Costpoint makes our users adhere to the same entry standards. This keeps errors from happening down the line.

I like the posting part where the record is set and can refer back to it. I got used to the different screens for data analysis.

I don't have any dislikes so far. I have used it 7 years and I got used the platforms and how different screens interact each other.

I saw at the conference how version 8.2 will be more user friendly and simpler clicking buttons and data layout.

Ability to tie to other resources. I also enjoy all the updates and new technology they are developing

Most of the functionality is configurable and scalable to the requirements of the enterprise.

The functionality is customizable. But there can be harmful effects of not appropriately customizing the functionality using industry best practices

All finance back office functionality is being managed easily

Deltek CP has helped me generate reports with vital info necessary to support my team

I like the way everything is connected in Deltek Costpoint. I also enjoy the reporting.

I would like more table names and joins to be provided for each form in Deltek Costpoint. There's always a struggle with the first time setup.

I use Deltek Costpoint for financial system and timesheet entry; it solves all daily work for timesheets, expenses, and financial data. I like how everything is connected and how well the reporting works.

Costpoint is a great ERP system that is perfect for small or large businesses. Any company that is working with the government should pick Deltek as its accounting system. It can support projects, forecasting, subcontracting, accounts payable, dashboarding, and everything else you would expect in an accounting system. The company has invested a lot in making T&E more user friendly and spending time on making it more user friendly for our field employees to ensure timesheet compliance and making expense reports easier to complete.

If there is one area I would have Deltek invest more in is the forecasting area is clunky and one of the areas Deltek has spent the least amount of time on. On the flip side it works and is great to have in one ERP package.

Allowing custom dashboarding to help support executive decision making. Allowing a one-stop shop for the whole business including staying DCAA compliant and having a very robust indrect buildup and project based that can give you a lot of information and accountability at the project level.
