It’s simple enough to use and gives me a quick way to see what the AI can do without any editing experience. The problem is that the more interesting face-swap features require credits, so I haven’t been able to properly explore those. **What do you dislike about DeepSwap?** The biggest drawback for me is that there isn’t really a free option to properly try the service before paying. You have to buy credits to use the face-swap features, and they can get used up pretty quickly when experimenting. For our campaigns, I can reuse existing footage and try out different faces and other visual variations, which makes it much easier to tailor creative content to different audiences and campaign ideas. I also like that there feature on supporting photos, GIFs and other video-level files through the same browser-based platform. Their face direction is also very weak, and their ability to replace multiple faces is highly helpful when we are dealing with group content. And with clear and well-sourced material, their recent look very much realistic and retains the facial expressions as well. **What do you dislike about DeepSwap?** One thing I didn't like about this platform is their credit-based system, which can become expensive when working with longer videos or even testing multiple versions. Sometimes results are very inconsistent when the face appears at sharper angles and even moves quickly when it's partially covered. A failed or imperfect generation may also consume credit and that makes experimentation less convenient. It can achieve up to 90% similarity score compared to other open-source models which can only achieve up to 60%~70%. The cosine similarity of DeepSwap also performs well under complicated scenarios like large angles, different lightings and different types of occlusions. **What do you dislike about DeepSwap?** It's too expensive given there are many other open-source models available. It takes about 1 dollar to generate a 30-second video. It does not provide any free trials to users and it’s very hard for you to get refunded.
