Initially, it might feel a bit cumbersome, but once I got the hang of it, it became easier and no intervention is needed. I focus on declaring expenses and submitting or claiming duty travel. I very much like that Declaree can give you a very clear overview, you can make a seperate report per 'happening' (for example: a fair abroad) to which you can add all expense reports that you have (instead of everything coming in, in a big pile). In the Declaree mobile app, after creating the report and adding the expenses, when I click “Submit report” it takes me to another view where I can write a message. However, this message field is very small. Sometimes, when I need to write a more extensive message, I have to swipe through the text just to read what I wrote, because the text box doesn’t show the full message. I found that you cannot add your daily allowance to your expenses report. So if I have 1 trip, I need to make an expenses report and a daily allowance report instead of 1 report for both. I don't know if this is something my company opted for, or if there are other reasons for it. And it is also weird that other expenses without the credit card cannot be added to the system. I find Declaree by Mobilexpense very easy to use for submitting travel expenses. I just need to upload the receipt and create the report, and it goes to my director without bothering him via email. If there is a discrepancy in the amount or the date, the receipt will not be linked to the credit card statement. Understandable!
