What is a job?

A job is created and executed each time you deploy a setup or register a host to Cycleops. A deployment job is a run to one or more targets. Deployment targets can be any combination of registered hosts or hostgroups. Registration jobs are executed when you connect a server to Cycleops. One deployment creates a number of jobs equal to the number of targets that one setup is applied to.

## Cycleops Pricing FAQs

Generated using AI

Is Cycleops free, or does it offer a free trial?

Yes. According to G2 data, Cycleops offers a free plan with limited features. Users can upgrade to paid plans for additional capabilities. Visit the seller's official pricing page to compare plan options and features.

How much does Cycleops cost in 2026?

According to G2 data, Cycleops pricing in 2026 starts at $74.00 and can reach $499.00 depending on the selected plan. Pricing may vary based on billing terms or usage, so users should review the Stackmasters's official pricing page for the most current details.

Who is Cycleops pricing best suited for?

Cycleops's pricing is best suited for small businesses in computer software and IT services, which represent the overwhelming majority of G2 reviewers. These teams typically want Docker container deployments on owned infrastructure without Kubernetes complexity or cloud-provider premiums. The free tier fits solo developers or early-stage startups validating deployment workflows. Cycleops's Basic plan at $74.00/month suits small teams needing deployment reporting. Cycleops's Pro plan at $499.00/month targets teams of up to five collaborators managing multiple services. G2 data also shows mid-market e-learning and higher education adopters using Cycleops for rapid prototyping and multi-host deployments, with basic DevOps familiarity recommended across all tiers.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of Cycleops?

Cycleops's free tier includes Docker deployments, service catalog, unified inventory, stack builder, and configuration management — a substantive feature set for solo developers or small teams evaluating the platform. G2 reviewers confirm the free plan supports real deployment scenario testing, not just a limited preview. Cycleops's Basic plan at $74.00/month adds reporting, enabling teams to track deployment activity. Cycleops's Pro plan at $499.00/month further adds five user seats, making it suited for collaborative teams. The primary upgrade drivers are reporting access and multi-user collaboration, with enterprise needs handled via custom quotes beyond the three standard tiers.

Is Cycleops considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers rate Cycleops at 4.5–5.0 across all reviews, signaling strong satisfaction relative to cost. Reviewers explicitly compare Cycleops favorably against premium alternatives like ECS and Heroku, noting it delivers similar container deployment capabilities at lower cost on owned infrastructure. One G2 reviewer highlights saving money by migrating from a previous cloud platform. The free tier's ability to test real deployment scenarios before committing is frequently praised. At $74.00/month for Basic and $499.00/month for Pro, Cycleops's pricing is considered strong value for small teams avoiding Kubernetes overhead, though reviewers note missing features like zero-downtime deployments and automatic HTTPS certificates as gaps worth monitoring.

"Swift, no-code, and flexible container deployment automation"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Cycleops?

What I really like about Cycleops is how it makes container deployment a breeze. It provides a hassle-free, no-code setup for swift stack creation and deployment. The library of pre-configured assets and robust full-stack orchestration capabilities enhance operational control, while the user-friendly open-source CLI simplifies integration with CI tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cycleops?

One thing is its reliance on SSH for accessing infrastructure. It would be lovely to see other options like AWS Session Manager added, offering smoother and perhaps more secure connectivity in AWS-centric environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Cycleops solving and how is that benefiting you?

I've been using Cycleops to whip up quick prototypes. Its no-code setup gets things moving fast, and being able to deploy on any host I own is a cost-saver. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
