What do you like best about CookieYes?

Data privacy is no joke, so having a secure, user-friendly cookie management platform at an affordable price really helps keep my mind at ease. Integrating the solution with our website was straightforward, and we haven’t run into any issues since.

CookieYes support is also genuinely excellent. When we needed access to our dashboard while our dashboard manager was away the support team responded promptly, helped us transfer ownership, and got everything sorted out quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CookieYes?

Having a bit more flexibility in describing cookies to users would make the solution perfect even for a large enterprise. For example, it would help to have a field for adding each third party’s privacy policy and terms and conditions per cookie, and to let users give consent to individual cookies, not only groups. What do you like best about CookieYes?

The user interface is very intuitive. The pricing was very reasonable for the features we receive. Support was very helpful both during our trial and after we signed on in production. What do you dislike about CookieYes?

This was not a fault of cookieyes, but the initial integration was difficult because our hosting setup (for staging) was behind access rules and it took configuration to get us to correctly scan for cookies. What do you like best about CookieYes?

What I like best about CookieYes is the combination of a clean, user-friendly interface and outstanding customer support.

The dashboard is intuitive, making it easy to manage multiple websites, consent settings, and compliance requirements without a steep learning curve. Setup and ongoing maintenance are straightforward, which saves time and reduces complexity.

What truly stands out, however, is the support team. I recently encountered a billing issue involving multiple accounts, and the team took the time to thoroughly investigate the situation, review past communications, identify the root cause, and provide a fair resolution. Throughout the process, communication was professional, transparent, and responsive.

What do you dislike about CookieYes?

There is not much to dislike. If I had to point out one area for improvement, it would be account and subscription management for users who operate multiple websites or accounts.

In my case, having subscriptions associated with different email addresses made it somewhat difficult to immediately identify where certain charges originated. A more centralized overview of subscriptions and billing across related accounts would make account management even more transparent.

I eventually moved to another consent management platform, primarily because it aligned more closely with my specific Google Ads and Consent Mode requirements. However, this was based on my particular business needs rather than any dissatisfaction with CookieYes itself.

the Support, even on the free version that I am using.

I had a conflict on my website that changed the color of the text. I couldn't solve it, chatGPT offered solutions that didn't work. A short letter to their support gave me the simple solution that took seconds to implement.

What do you like best about CookieYes?

Full featured, very flexible dashboard, lots of tools to help set up cookie handling and GCM, and excellent service (at least the one time I used it!) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CookieYes?

Setting up GCM was a bit tricky, and in the end it turned out my hosting provider’s caching was the problem—CookieYes’ scan for the correct GTM/GCM configuration kept failing because of it.
