CookieInspector is a website cookie and consent scanner. It loads a site the way a first-time visitor sees it, from a clean browser in the US or Germany, and records everything that happens before and after the consent banner: which cookies are set, which scripts load, which third-party requests fire, and when. What it checks: pre-consent tracking (cookies, scripts and third-party calls that fire before the visitor accepts, with the page and the tag that triggered each one); the consent banner itself (30+ consent platforms recognised, including OneTrust, Cookiebot, CookieYes, iubenda, Usercentrics, Termly, Complianz and Klaro, with a test of whether rejecting actually blocks trackers); Google Consent Mode v2 (default state, the four signals, and whether tags respect the update); and GDPR, ePrivacy and CCPA/CPRA, with an optional California opt-out check. What you get: a risk score backed by evidence (request timeline, screenshots and the cookies behind every finding); a How to fix guide per site that names the tag or script behind each issue, as a PDF for a developer or as Markdown for an AI coding agent; scheduled monitoring with alerts when a site regresses; multi-page scans; PDF, Notion and Confluence exports; an API; and a public verification badge for sites that pass.
