"I converted from..."
5/5
What do you like best about Kit?

Tailored very much for creative types. They speak the language that people like me understand (photographer turned coach). The automation interface is so much better than the other product I've been using for the past few years (and reviewed). Their support staff is very prompt and helpful (and kind!). It feels like they try really hard to look after their customers. As soon as I joined (paid for one of the plans), I felt heard and looked after. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kit?

There are some features that I requested when they asked me about what could be improved. The email template system could be improved by allowing the template selection for automation for example. Also, what's not there (compared to other EDMs) is the ability to add smart fields against a subscriber (e.g. time/date fields for appointments etc). I got around the problem by using Zapier so it's not a deal-breaker right now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Swtich from Convertkit to ActiveCampaign"
5/5
What do you like best about Kit?

I enjoyed the weekly training Convertkit offered to their community whereas, with ActiveCampaign, I enjoy the monthly calls with an account manager to help optimize the CRM system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kit?

I did not like the cost per subscriber as the email list was projected to grow. I would have liked to have more monthly calls to talk about some of the issues that come up with optimizing the list. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Created for Content Creators"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Kit?

Convertkit's simplicity in managing contacts is what makes them stand out among other CRM. Just because it's simple doesn't mean it doesn't offer a lot of features. With Convertkit, you can manage all your subscribers as one list and group them with tags. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kit?

I don't like the opt-in forms of Convertkit. It needs to be updated. When creating a form, there are times when it's quite hard to know because the instant preview doesn't show exactly what the form looks like. Also, the alignment is not as intuitive as other opt-in form in leadpages or mailchimp. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Versatile tool that covers a lot of needs"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Kit?

I liked the email design feature the most out of all the offerings, it was easy to use, intuitive, and got the job done; the UI was solid and didn't clutter things up. The other feature that I enjoyed was the landing page builder and how intuitive it was. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kit?

The thing that I disliked was the email sequencing, it was rather too simple as compared to other products out there like klaviyo. It used a drag and drop setup whereas klaviyo gives more freedom and choice with added complexity of course. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Experience with convertkit"
5/5
What do you like best about Kit?

Converkit is best for automating the campaigns as well for best email campaign creation here the best thing is that we can create the landing page or thank you page as well and use that for remarketing purposes which is not available in most of the tools Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kit?

Needs complete customization for users, like predefined templates or rules to define in the campaign so that we can use it to the maximum optimization of the campaigns Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effective, easy to use, and free for up to 1,000 contacts"
5/5
What do you like best about Kit?

I love the fact that it's built with a simple interface whose main focus is on growing your audience, and that it's easy to integrate with other marketing platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kit?

It does miss some of the freedom to code freely your own modules and email logic (in comparison to Zoho) and the other (minor) issue is that if I need to change the text of a broadcast email after I scheduled it, it defaults to "send now," forcing me to schedule it again. This can be particularly dangerous if scheduling an email that is timely with something that hasn't happened yet (e.g., asking a client or potential client what they thought about something they haven't yet received). "Talking About Convertkit"
5/5
What do you like best about Kit?

Lots of features to target different customers. Plus easy to use, and affordable compared to other ESP. And the best part is your broadcasts inbox. Compared to other ESP, this is my pick. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kit?

I really do not have anything I dislike about Convertkit, as there have been no issues, and every broadcast we do goes out quickly and inboxes. You could offer more optin pages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best email marketing tool"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Kit?

The feature personalization email is the best feature of this tool that helps you to customize your email according to your audience automatically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kit?

Its free version is not working properly if you want to delete an extra broadcast then it dons,t delete and the email goes to the promotion or spam folder. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
