"Comprehensive AI Search Performance Insights for Enterprise SEO Orgs"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Conductor?

Conductor is an amazing Enterprise SEO platforms, and one of the most impressive in the market right now. Their new AI Search Performance features are comprehensive; organizations can monitor their brand presence across AI search engines, get insights into user intent and behavior, and track topics related to the entities they're optimizing for. You'll also see data about brand mentions and citations across AI search platforms, which helps to have a better understanding of GEO/AEO performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Conductor?

Conductor is retiring the Keyword report, and the AI Search widgets are glitchy when added to Workspace reports. This is something their product team should QA more often and stay on top of, because it affects reporting and the users' ability to export this data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Solid All-in-One SEO Platform, Now with Real AI Search Coverage"
5/5
What do you like best about Conductor?

What stands out most is how Conductor has evolved beyond traditional keyword tracking to cover AI search visibility. Being able to track brand mentions and citations across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and AI Mode alongside traditional search performance means I'm not stitching together data from five different tools to understand our full search footprint. The ai_citation_insights filtering by prompt type (branded vs. unbranded) has been genuinely useful for competitive intel, especially when we needed to understand how a new microsite would need to earn citations from scratch.

The topic-level structure scales well across multiple brands and verticals. We're running 88+ topics across three different web properties and it stays organized rather than turning into a spreadsheet nightmare. Being able to run research before drafting content briefs has also cut down on rework significantly: we get a clear read on keyword clusters and search intent before a writer ever touches a topic, instead of discovering after the fact that we picked the wrong angle.

Competitor tracking is another strength. Being able to see where competitors are winning AI citations on specific topics (not just where they rank traditionally) has changed how we prioritize content investment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Conductor?

Pricing still puts it out of reach for very small teams, and there's a short learning curve before dashboards feel second nature. The interface still feels legacy in places, with navigation and visual design less modern and intuitive than newer tools.

On the MCP/API integration side specifically, we've hit a couple of rough edges while building automated workflows: topic names containing ampersands silently return empty results rather than throwing a clear error, which cost us time before we tracked down the cause. Also through the API, GSC-native metrics like clicks, impressions, and CTR aren't exposed, so we still have to pull that data separately from Windsor.ai rather than getting one unified feed. Neither of these show up if you're just using the dashboard UI, but they're worth knowing if you're building anything programmatic on top of Conductor.

Outside of the API, data can lag a bit on lower volume terms, and backlink support isn't built in like specialist link tools, so we still pair it with another vendor. Custom reporting is good but could offer finer control over charting and scheduled exports. Credit costs add up quickly once you're running the full 5-engine set (Google AIO, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity) across dozens of topics, so budgeting AI citation tracking takes real planning. Speed is generally solid, though large filters or long date ranges can feel slow.

None of these are deal breakers, but they're worth knowing going in, especially if you're scaling AI search tracking across multiple brands or verticals, or building custom integrations on top of the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless SEO Strategy and Content Creation"
5/5
What do you like best about Conductor?

I like how easy it is to create good content with Conductor. The entire workflow from identifying content opportunities to creating the content is something I enjoy. I find it helpful to use the performance > keywords feature to look at rank opportunities and then click the three dots to directly open a writing assistant draft. This feature allows me to write quality content with all the important information to help us rank on the SERP in a matter of minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Conductor?

I still think the reporting is kind of tough, and manipulating the weeks is difficult. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to use AI Seach optimization tool available with MPC server integration across GPTs"
5/5
What do you like best about Conductor?

The tool is easy to use, and the Conductor support team has been very helpful. I also had multiple meetups with the Conductor leadership team to better understand the tool and what it offers. It provides an easy-to-integrate MCP, and it delivers amazing results when integrated with a website, an account, and Claude. The tool is quick, and it crawls the entire website smoothly and fast. The ROI is great, and the AI integration with Claude is amazing. You should see the insights and recommendations it brings—they are absolutely detailed and precise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Conductor?

Nothing as such yet—we’re still in the research phase. So far, I’ve liked the tool and its ease of use. That said, it would be helpful to add more summary tiles (similar to SEMrush) for stronger analytical insights. Even better would be built-in insights and recommendations within the tool itself. Right now, I use the MCP integration with claudde to get those insights, which means I eventually end up paying more overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Conductor’s AI Search Dashboards Deliver Actionable Insights and Content Opportunities"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Conductor?

Conductor stands out for its advanced AI-powered search capabilities and highly actionable reporting. The AI Search Dashboards provide deep visibility into performance trends, helping teams quickly identify opportunities and optimize content strategies. I particularly value the prompts and topic-level reports, which make it easy to uncover content gaps and align content to evolving search behavior. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Conductor?

While the platform is feature-rich, there can be a learning curve for new users due to the depth of insights available. Some reports may also require initial setup and alignment to fully tailor them to specific business use cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Elevates SEO Strategies with Ease and Powerful AI"
5/5
What do you like best about Conductor?

I find Conductor super easy to use. It offers a bunch of different features like keyword searches and keyword research, which actually incorporate the new AI search capabilities. These tools help me identify the right keywords, enhancing my chances to appear in search results. One of the really nice things is the AI tool that allows me to rewrite existing content on my page, providing direct feedback. This makes it much easier for me to create relevant content that scores well in SEO. The transition to Conductor was very easy, which was a big plus, especially after migrating from Semrush. I also appreciate the many enhancements Conductor constantly adds to their platform, making it even better. Overall, Conductor feels light years ahead of what I experienced with Semrush. What do you dislike about Conductor?

There's a lot with Conductor. And it's almost a full-time job just to play in it. I think if it had a best practices for what I needed it to do, that could be better. Potentially, there might be some training or some tutorials that already exist. But when I go into Conductor, I'm usually looking for one particular thing. Perhaps there would be the ability to add some AI functionality that says, great. You're looking here. Maybe it would be helpful if you looked in this place. "Content Guidance and AI Search Performance are Amazing Tools!"
5/5
What do you like best about Conductor?

Content Guidance, it's an amazing tool that has been super helpful for us!

Also, the AI Search Performance, especially the share of voice, has been great for tracking our mentions, citations, and sentiment score. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Conductor?

Nothing! I guess the only downside is that it takes time, which nowadays is harder to find. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All-in-One SEO Solution with Stellar Evolution"
5/5
What do you like best about Conductor?

I like that Conductor pulls together all our information in one place automatically, which saves us the effort of gathering data from multiple sources. I appreciate how it helps us craft persona-centric prompts and provides a clearer understanding of our AI search profile. It also aids in writing SEO-first content. The platform is constantly evolving to meet the needs of an ever-evolving search environment, and the team at Conductor is always top-notch. We utilize the full platform for everything from research to analyzing data, page performance, and AI search visibility. The initial setup was fairly simple and was led by the Conductor onboarding team, with training provided for new features. From an AI search perspective, the new platform layout is excellent. Helps to bring up visibility and executive level information, while also allowing me and my team to dig deeper and get recommendations to impact growth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Conductor?

I actually dislike nothing about Conductor. I'm looking forward to the platform continuing to grow. With the new Bing Webmaster Tool AI Search launch in February, I would love to see Conductor integrate into its platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Conductor: A Comprehensive SEO Solution with Room for Improvement"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Conductor?

I really appreciate Conductor for being our one-stop shop for all SEO problems, from keyword researching to content writing and optimization. The content writer tool is a big differential because it's set up in a step-by-step process, allowing our content writers to optimize by themselves. It's great that I can also fine-tune the content, which gives me more free time for adjustments. I also value the web monitoring tool; it's a great tool. Plus, I find Conductor to be a very easy-to-use SEO tool, whether you're technical or not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Conductor?

There's no backlinks capabilities, which is kind of upsetting. Also, the reporting tool could be improved. Sometimes it feels like we need a more straightforward graph of the top 10 keywords that are ranking, maybe with site links. I don't have site links in the SERP results. I think those are the two main concerns I have that could be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Conductor Sets the Gold Standard for SEO and AI Innovation"
5/5
What do you like best about Conductor?

We have found a ton of utility in the owned AI Overviews chart in client presentations and new business pitches, as it really helps get clients grounded with their AI visibility, and how their SEO foundation has to be rock solid - Conductor helps us tell that story effectively and cut through the noise when it comes to brands building visibility in AI platforms. We've also been setting up page tracking to monitor key landing pages from landing page optimization work, and Conductor's ability to pull in Search Console and GA4 data saves us time when we are digging into reporting. Conductor is also offering MCP server capability, and something we are excited to try out, and be able to utilize Conductor data directly within an AI chatbot experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Conductor?

Continually refining the AI visibility reports is something that Conductor has been doing, especially as tracking topics and prompts for AI visibility can be an uphill battle for our team, and likely other teams and clients. It's been a challenge in recent months, but we're confident Conductor is evolving this report and making it as user-friendly as possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
