"Great for Finding Top Contacts, but Overlapping Accounts and Rigid Columns Confuse"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Common Room?

I like that I can go to a single place to identify the top contacts and accounts to pursue Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Common Room?

I don't like the way that organizations and accounts end up overlapping. It's often very confusing, and we always end up only creating and/or filtering off of account objects, not organization objects.

I also do not like that you cannot move columns within account or contact views. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from JP Marquez of Common Room

Thanks for the detailed breakdown, Joe.

Really glad Common Room's giving you one place to work through account and contact prioritization for outbound.

The overlap between organizations and accounts, and the lack of column control in account and contact views, both make sense as friction points. Worth flagging these to your CSM. They can dig into how your setup is configured and make sure this gets in front of the right team to support you.

Thank you again for leaving us a review.

"Seamless ABM Enhanced by Stellar Support and AI Capabilities"
5/5
What do you like best about Common Room?

I think Common Room is a wonderful platform with a great UI, but what stands out the most is the wonderful team. They've been side by side with us during the implementation process, helping us iron out all the technical issues. The customer service is probably the best I've ever worked with. I enjoy using the platform thoroughly because of this, and I know that if I have any technical hiccups, they're gonna be there within a second to help me out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Common Room?

I think the HubSpot integration could be improved. That seems to be where some of the data sync issues arise. It was a little bit challenging to set up, especially the integration between Common Room and HubSpot, although a lot of that has to do with the way we've set up HubSpot as a business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from JP Marquez of Common Room

Let's go! We're so happy to hear the Common Room team's been in it with you through implementation and beyond. And that support's been some of the best you've worked with! That's exactly the experience we want every customer to have. We'll make sure the team sees this.

Also, noted on the Hubspot integration feedback. Glad it seems to have been resolved, otherwise don't hesitate to reach out to your CSM to help get it across the finish line.

Thanks again for taking the time to write this, and for trusting us with your ABM work.

"Director of Sales Development"
3/5
What do you like best about Common Room?

Common Room's UX/UI is flexible and easy to use, which makes adoption across the team painless. It's been especially helpful for figuring out who to target by tying intent signals directly to companies, pulling from multiple different sources rather than relying on just one. This has significantly sped up our list-building process, since we're no longer manually stitching together signals from separate tools to figure out who's worth prioritizing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Common Room?

Intent signals can feel non-specific sometimes, making it hard to pin down exactly why an account showed up as a target or what actually triggered it. There's also some skepticism on our end around the deanonymization piece. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from JP Marquez of Common Room

Thank you for all of the positive feedback. We're so happy to hear Common Room's UI's made adoption easy across your teams, and that pulling intent signals together in one place has cut down on the manual list-building work for your SDRs. That's exactly what we like to see.

We hear you on signal specificity, and appreciate you being honest about your questions around deanonymization. These are both worth reaching out to your CSM over. They can walk through how signal attribution and deanonymization work, so you can optimize your dashboard and gain confidence in the accuracy of the data.

Thanks again for leaving a review!

"Seamless Unified View with Powerful Signals and A+ Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Common Room?

I’ve never used a tool that pulls together such a vast amount of signals in a way that can truly move the needle. Thanks to their partnerships, it’s been incredibly seamless to get a unified view of a person. Their customer support is also an A+ and has been extremely valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Common Room?

You have to sit with bad records in your room and it hits your bottom line. We learned that the hard way a few times. I would love to see it become more of an orchestration platform, especially around ABM and AI plays, but maybe in due time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from JP Marquez of Common Room

Thank you for this, it means a lot. Really glad the signal depth and unified view are making a difference, and really glad our support team came through for you too. We'll make sure they see this.

On sitting with bad records hitting your bottom line, we hear you. That's actually exactly what DataAgent is built to catch. Worth flagging to your CSM if you haven't looked into it further yet.

And the orchestration and ABM direction you're describing, that's exactly where we're headed. More on this soon.

Thanks again for taking the time to write this.

"Promising Tool with Intuitive UI, Needs More Refinement"
4/5
What do you like best about Common Room?

I think Common Room is very well thought out, with a UI that's very intuitive. It's very easy to learn, and workflows are simple to build. Reports are straightforward, even though they're a bit bare bones. The platform feels very mobile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Common Room?

A lot of the flows you have to build for reps feel somewhat hacky. The way it integrates with HubSpot at times can feel a little bit hacky. A lot of it does feel very early stage. Same thing with reports, like having to reach out if you want certain columns moved or added. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from JP Marquez of Common Room

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Really glad to hear the UI and workflow builder are working well for you, that's exactly what we're aiming for.

And thanks for the candid feedback, too. We genuinely use reviews like this to help prioritize what comes next.

One thing that stood out: it sounds like you're already seeing good signals from net-new account activity. We'd definitely recommend connecting with your CSM because we can help make this a more repeatable play your team can scale.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

"Effective Contact Targeting, Needs Better Analytics UI"
4/5
What do you like best about Common Room?

I find Common Room easy to use, especially for enrolling people directly into sequence outreach. It simplifies that process. I also liked some of its AI features better, which contributed to our decision to switch from Pocus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Common Room?

Some of the analytics and reporting is a little difficult to use within the UI of the tool, so we have to request some of that stuff to be sent via their engineering team. We'd like to be able to group by managers and by teams and marry that data to specific outreach sequences. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from JP Marquez of Common Room

Thanks for the review! Really glad Common Room's made enrolling contacts into outreach sequences simple, and that our AI capabilities were part of what got you to switch over.

Appreciate the note on reporting and analytics, and on your desire to group by managers and teams and tying that to outreach sequences specifically. These are the exact sort of questions our CSM team can support you through, please reach out to your CSM and they'll jump on it.

Again, thank you for taking the time to write to us!

"Powerful Website Visit Tracking with GitHub Insights"
5/5
What do you like best about Common Room?

The ability to track website visits and their github data Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Common Room?

most everything is good, I am worried about the capabilities being taken over by bigger tools Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from JP Marquez of Common Room

Thanks for the kind words, Ben. Really glad the website visit tracking paired with GitHub signals is helping your reps prospect more easily.

That's exactly the kind of workflow we want to support. We're always going to remain focused on getting the details right for teams like yours, no matter what.

Appreciate you leaving a review.

"Common Room Brings All My Funnel and Engagement Insights into One Place"
5/5
What do you like best about Common Room?

I’ve used many similar (though different) tools, and Common Room is the first one that truly addresses all of my needs in a single place. It covers everything from top-of-funnel intel to deep insights into account engagement. The information is rich, and the time I save is hard to quantify—because before investing in this tool, I simply wasn’t getting all the information that Common Room now provides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Common Room?

I’d love to see Common Room become a true replacement for traditional CRM tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Deeply Human, Deeply Connected: How We Understand Our Community"
4/5
What do you like best about Common Room?

Common Room feels like a natural extension of our philosophy at Notion: to build tools that feel simple and intuitive but are incredibly powerful underneath. It unifies the countless conversations happening around our product—from Slack and GitHub to Discord and Twitter—into a single, coherent timeline. This allows us to see the person behind the data, understanding not just what users are doing, but why they are doing it and what they need to succeed. The ability to identify and rally our most passionate advocates effortlessly has been transformative. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Common Room?

As with any platform that aggregates massive amounts of unstructured data, there is an initial phase of tuning and refinement required to ensure the signal-to-noise ratio is high. Achieving that perfect, clean view of our community took some dedicated effort from our team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Signal Coverage, Laggy Support"
3/5
What do you like best about Common Room?

Open source signals and other signals combined Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Common Room?

Slow support, took us over 3 months to have our issues fixed Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from JP Marquez of Common Room

Thanks for taking the time to share this, and for being upfront about the wait.

Three months to get a support issue resolved is too long, plain and simple. We're sorry it took that long.

Really glad the open source and signal combination is helping you identify OSS users, that's a use case we care a lot about getting right.

If anything is still open on your end, please reach out ASAP.
