The broad hardware portfolio (ISR, ASR, Catalyst 8000) lets you right-size deployments from branch to core. Global TAC support and an extensive partner ecosystem mean timely firmware updates, proven design guides, and deep troubleshooting expertise whenever you need it. The licensing model can be confusing and costly—feature packages are tiered, and perpetual vs. subscription options create budgeting headaches. The CLI learning curve is steep (different images and feature sets across platforms), and major OS upgrades often require maintenance windows.
