I really like how lightweight and fast Chromium OS is, this means I can install the OS on an older system or even a very cheap machine and it will run just fine. I also like the user interface I find that it's very user friendly especially for a Linux based OS. The integration with the cloud is seamless as well, it was for me setting up my Google Drive to access all my documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

A lot of the functionality requires you to be connected to the internet so if you are on a train or somewhere with limited internet access then it can really throttle your workflow. The OS is primarily designed for Chromebooks meaning that running on other devices is limiting. The amount of software that is compatible is quite limited also which can be really annoying. While Chromium OS excels in many areas, it's important to note a few limitations. First, it heavily relies on an internet connection, as most of the applications and services are cloud-based.
