**What do you like best about Chart.Js?**

The rich and simple use of the JavaScript library saves a lot of time in the development process. It's faster, lighter, and more responsive, and it has a lot of documentation and a lot of precedents compared to a lot of competitors.

**What do you dislike about Chart.Js?**

So far, I haven't found any dislike of Chart. js it is the ideal answer for most of my requirements in app.

Get information from our customers and put them into outlines and charts so they can have a better understanding of what's going on in the business.

**What do you like best about Chart.Js?**

A wide range of accessible examples. Complete documentation can access all imaginable examples on their website. Personally, I prefer their donuts and pie and line outlines.

**What do you dislike about Chart.Js?**

For competitors,the documentation is completely horrible. A generator device should be like charts already or there may be an instrument that tells you the best way to make the precedent appear on the sample page instead of delving into the repo.

**What do you like best about Chart.Js?**

mostly I like chart.js because great and easy to use JS library that saves a lot of time of a developer at the time of developing. I used chart.js for creating various type of chart which is on real-time data. It also provides a responsive layout for screen size even for a small screen like a mobile view and you can customized color as your choice. I like the documentation of it.  

**What do you dislike about Chart.Js?**

I haven’t found anything that I have disliked about it.

if you wanna create the chart and don't wanna spend too much time and effort go with chart.js definitely you will go in the right way.

**What problems is Chart.Js solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taking real-time currency data from different sites and presenting in the chart view so the user can easily understand the changing value of the currency in respective other currency.

Chart.js has a lot of great out of box solutions and the documentation is very good. They also seem to be adding more samples which helps get projects out the door faster

**What do you dislike about Chart.Js?**

I would say it's not as flexible as something like D3 but for small projects I would always choose Chart.js.

**Recommendations to others considering Chart.Js:**

Just give it a shot. I really like their bar and line chart options.

**What problems is Chart.Js solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm using Chart.js on my side projects to visualize data. I think the greatest benefit with using Chart.js is the documentation as I stated before.

**What do you like best about Chart.Js?**

I loved my experience with chart js. It was one of those tools that would just work. It was extremely helpful to visualize data in various representations. Since my line of work requires presenting data, I have had a lot of pleasant memories using this tool.

**What do you dislike about Chart.Js?**

There is not much to dislike about this tool, but I wish it could load some data assets quicker. As a person who spends most of his time loading data assets, the delay in loading could be frustrating.

**Recommendations to others considering Chart.Js:**

This is an amazing product to use if you are looking for a data visualization tool that does not require much effort to setup and get it running. It is also a tool that assures availability quality attributes. For instance, it will never quit on the user for unknown reasons.

I am currently part of a general student association programme at carnegie mellon university. And we use chart js for almost all data visualization tasks. We use them to track our orgnaisations' expenditure or usually to visualize polling data.

So far I have not found anything that I dislike about Chart.Js, it is the perfect solution to all of the needs I have within the application I work on.

If you are using something else than Chart.Js then you are not doing things right.

The colors can be customized to your needs and all the default UI tools come with nice styles.

documentation is really bad considered to competitors. A generator tool should be made like the one amcharts has or at least having a tool show you how to create the example shown in the samples page instead of digging in the repo

A lot of things aren't noted in the docs especially when it comes to data sets examples then you have to go to the repo and extract the data from there, simplicity is the key with this product.

visualize data sets through APIs. The basic configuration is good enough to achieve this.
This is a great tool to show POC mocks that can provide funding to some projects.

Switching to ChartJs after using well known svg based chart competitor was like day and night. ChartJs is much lighter, works faster and what is most important, has simple documentation. I found it very intuitive and easy to learn. Unlike other bulky solutions ChartJs is opensource and has a MIT licence.

**What do you dislike about Chart.Js?**

Even tho the documentation is great and library has a lot of option, sometimes to much. For example to style the border for the label of chart as I want I had to search for couple of hour for a solution. It might be due to the fact that it is canvas base and require a lot java script configuration. Also, maybe it's just me but I had some problems with responsiveness of a chart, sometimes scaling might behave weird if container isn't a fixed size.

If you need light and clean solution that works fast and looks great without addition styling go with ChartJs
