**What do you like best about Chart.Js?**

look and feel of the chart presentation.

I like that with minimum input, I can create various and impactful charts which display my data to its best effect.
I also like the animations and interactivity.
the inputs and the chart automatically adjusts when we remove box of labels.
This is quite a powerful feature which requires no code.
The examples on the Chart JS website give a good starting point to be able to create decent charts with complex data.

**What do you dislike about Chart.Js?**

documentation is little bit scramble so its make confusion while reading. And I don't like about this product is that some customization options are fairly limited.

**What problems is Chart.Js solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am solving capital market problems with chart.js,
Everyone not understands raw data ,Data needs to be visualized into something tangible in order to be appreciated and understood.
Chart.js is one of the tools that enables me to do this.

I have used chart.js to automate this data visualization report for ease of my own workflow, so instead of doing repetitive work of visualizing data everyday,

We just have an internal api to response with the latest data and a block of code that creates graphs on our internal dashboard.

The ease of creation of this said graph had really made my life easier.

  ### 32. Do custom graphs with graph.js and more

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allan Sheldon I. | Data Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2021

**What do you like best about Chart.Js?**

I love the fact that you can easily integrate chart.js into any existing dashboard. Also you whether you need to do scatter plots, time series, or any other type of charts, you can freely use chart.js to your liking. You can do custom graphs, combine different graph forms in order to translate data into a much more tangible output, making data easier to understand. It is so simple, easy to understand, and can get you up and running as fast as 5 minutes.

Another point in chart.js that I love is that you can easily plot modern data endpoints into a graph, as easy as adding numerical json data into the canvas, and it retains the key! Its such a pleasurable experience doing modernized, eye catching, and pleasing graphs with this library. The customizability options for the data visualization is quite broad too, you can modify the background, the curvature of the line from point to point, the visibility, the color, and the type of line. The customizability of this library is just up to the integrator and how he/she will take advantage of that. There are a lot more options to explore with this library, and I tell you, this is as easy as it gets. You should try it too.

**What do you dislike about Chart.Js?**

The only thing I dislike about chart.js is the same as why I really like it in the first place, chart.js is so simple. End of sentence. I would love to see more customizable options and creating much more complex graphs and diagrams for easier data visualization of much more complex data. Still, I will uphold my previous statement, and I believe that the team behind chart.js will continue to develop and improve upon the already great existing library. I am keeping an eye on this library and I am excited for future updates and features to come.

Another thing I don't like about this product is that some customization options are fairly limited, but still, for a robust, easy, and simple library, who am I to complain. But still I would love to see this get updated and feature some functions to make the ease of integration easier. Like for example, the size and legend modification needs some work, but still useable. Also some built in functions does not work well with some build, like for example you need to recreate the graph with a fresh set of data, existing data will show whenever you hover around the canvas, but this is easily amendable by recreating the canvas every time you need to do a new graph with fresh set of data, albeit quite inefficient. Things like this makes it far from perfect but I would love to see this improved upon the future iterations of this library

**Recommendations to others considering Chart.Js:**

I recommend you to have a clean data while using chart.js to eliminate client side processing, this will make chart.js snappier and your dashboard lighter, avoiding stutters with chart.js' animations.

**What problems is Chart.Js solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am solving business problems with chart.js, not everyone understands or appreciates raw data. Data needs to be visualized into something tangible in order to be appreciated and understood. Chart.js is one of the tools that enables me to do this. I was able to visualize the spikes in sales of skus which our data analyst then base our decisions on manufacturing. I have used chart.js to automate this data visualization report for ease of my own workflow, so instead of doing repetitive work of visualizing data everyday, I just have an internal api to response with the latest data and a block of code that creates graphs on our internal dashboard. The ease of creation of this said graph had really made my life easier.

**What problems is Chart.Js solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Chart JS solutions have leveraged the analytical data that my stored procedures have produced, to clearly show the users the data they request in a way that is easily understood. I particularly like the Radar chart type, which enables multiple datasets to be described accross multiple axis.

**What do you like best about Chart.Js?**

The most helpful about Chart.JS is its beautiful architecture like how it is arranging its data and auto-generated tooltip. Based on its configuration we can get a clear pictorial representation of data in a normalized way depending on its type of representation.

**What do you dislike about Chart.Js?**

if you want to set data based on some custom filter or custom time then you need to insert data every time and updating it which is a kind of manual way every time.

**Recommendations to others considering Chart.Js:**

Chart.Js provides you ample support to represent your data in pictorial format. If you are using Chart.Js and you want to filter out the data then probably you need to self customize yourself. For Angular, ng2-chart is the npm module.

**What problems is Chart.Js solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have Chart.Js in one of my projects to show the analysis of data. I have also shown data based on time (Quarterly, half-yearly, yearly, and custom). The major benefit I get by using Chart.Js is when I configure it, it auto adjust the data and provide me the tooltip based on the legends.
