
For the price and what the service offers, this is a very solid SAS. I've been using Certopus since March 2023 and I'm so glad I found it when I did. The prices have increased some since their launch days, but it has become a reliable and cost-effective tool for us. We're in a service-based training business, and certifications are essential to us.
For the most part, customer service has been decent, though at times unresponsive. The software is based in India and being a U.S. user, the language and use of certain terms are sometimes non-intuitive, but not beyond understanding. All in all, I'm very grateful to have Certopus as a part of my business.
One thing I very much appreciate is the white-labeling experience. Raj helped me set it up so that all emails are sent from our custom email address, and the verification page is a custom page on our website. It provides for a clean, professional look and feel.
Certopus also has a number of features I haven't implemented such as learning pathways, and while I'm not currently using this feature, I like that it's there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At times customer support can be very slow, or entirely unresponsive, but other times they're quick as a whip. Not sure why, but I assume that some days they're in the office and other days they're not. It's a small team and I think they really try. Technically the most important features all seem to work as they should, but there are some bugs that need to be fixed. Searching for previously issued certs can at times be cumbersom or even impossible - I've had batches of certs disappear from my admin view entirely. Still, the issued certs are still live, and that's much more important.
I think a big thing people would want to recognize is that Certopus has two limit: Credentials (certs) and Events; and if you have events with only a few people in them, you can run out of events much faster than you'd run out of credentials. In this way, Certopus may be better for companies offering fewer events, with larger attendance #'s.
It's also worth noting that the support center and guidance videos are very limited. It's grown over time, but still very limited. While support can be intermittent, Raj, when available, is kind and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
