Carbonfact Reviews & Product Details

Competent colleagues with a lot of know-how, always open and honest, have stood and continue to stand by us with advice and assistance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

So far, I have not found any critical points or points worthy of criticism. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The platform is designed for us to be independent and we were able to customize it for our specific needs, yet the team is extremly available and reactive with any requests or questions.

With some practice, the Explorer tool became a big ally in building our roadmap and prioritzing our efforts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Using data from other platforms can be tricky (misinterpretation of fabric name, incorrect mapping...), depending on the level of maturity of your data system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The platform is highly user-friendly and allows you to get started immediately, even when data quality is not ideal. This delivers value from the very beginning, and integrating it into our organization was both straightforward and intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When we began the implementation, we did not have a PLM system or a unified article database in place. Since Carbonfact did not provide a standard template for entering article data, we had to create our own input file, despite having no prior experience with the platform. “As HVEG Group continues to grow, we needed one harmonized LCA and carbon accounting platform across our business units. Working in Excel sheets and across many different systems was challenging. We chose to partner with Carbonfact because they can support us with this challenge.

Carbonfact provides clear insight into our Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions and also in our impact on product-level (LCA). Providing insight is the first step, the next is setting goals in line with the Science Based Targets Initiative. Followed by the most important step, in my opinion, reducing our impact.

Next to this, Carbonfact will also be our partner in providing the French Eco Score and, of course, the Digital Product Passport.” Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I do not dislike anything. Carbonfact is very helpful and they have a good onboarding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

At ARMEDANGELS, we don’t just want to talk about sustainability — we want to measure it, challenge it, and improve it continuously. Carbonfact has helped us do exactly that. We started working with Carbonfact to better understand the carbon impact of our products, and it quickly became more than just a tool — it became a strategic partner in our decarbonisation journey. No black box, no fluff — just solid, science-based support. What we particularly appreciate is how well Carbonfact understands the complexity of fashion supply chains. The team behind the platform is incredibly responsive and curious — always open to feedback, fast to improve, and genuinely committed to impact. We’re excited to continue this journey together and would recommend Carbonfact to any brand that’s serious about reducing its footprint — not just reporting on it. I really appreciate the collaboration in this team. The mix of different backgrounds in science, tech and industry experience creates a dynamic where we can look at challenges from all sides and find solutions together. This diversity is matched by a mindset of going beyond expectations; not just delivering on tasks, but actively creating value on both sides. The team is responsive, open to feedback, and quick to adapt, with a strong sense of structure that still leaves room for new ideas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

At times, the pace of change or responsiveness from different sides varies, but overall collaboration helps keep things moving. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The platform is super intuitive and finally built for fashion – no generic estimates, but real, product-level insights. What we love most: the team. Communication via Slack, Asana, and Google Drive fits exactly how we work. It feels less like onboarding a tool and more like gaining an extra team member. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Honestly, not much. If I had toOnce you get used to this level of speed and clarity, everything else feels slow. So not really a downside, more a warning 😉 Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The platform offers significant relief from the burdens of data input and data cleaning, which has made my work much more manageable. I also appreciate the quality of customer support and the overall usability of the platform. The speed at which new features and updates are developed is impressive. In 2024, Marc O'Polo entered into a partnership with Carbonfact. Carbonfact is a platform that helps textile and footwear companies calculate and reduce the carbon footprint of their products and services. It provides tools for analyzing emissions, thereby helping companies make sustainable decisions to minimize their environmental impact. For Marc O'Polo, accurate and scalable CO2 accounting is crucial for setting climate targets and monitoring their achievement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Automation of Scope 1 and Scope 2 data collection could still be optimized, but continuous improvements are noticeable here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
