BuildCrux Reviews & Product Details

BuildCrux is an AI-powered construction estimating and project management platform designed for general contractors, subcontractors, and construction firms of all sizes. It leverages artificial intelligence to automate quantity takeoffs, generate accurate cost estimates, and streamline the entire bid-to-build workflow — turning hours of manual estimating into minutes. Core capabilities include AI-assisted takeoffs from blueprints and plan sets, integrated material and labor cost databases with regional pricing, automated proposal and bid generation, change order tracking, and project timeline management. BuildCrux connects the estimating process to project execution with built-in collaboration tools, document management, and real-time budget tracking. The platform is built to handle residential, commercial, and specialty trade projects. Estimators can upload plans in PDF or CAD format and get AI-generated quantity takeoffs with editable line items. Cost databases update automatically, and templates can be customized for recurring project types — so each new estimate builds on previous work rather than starting from scratch. BuildCrux also includes client-facing proposal tools with professional formatting, digital signatures, and payment milestones. Project managers get dashboards showing budget vs. actual, schedule status, and team workload across all active jobs. Plans start at $39/month for solo estimators, with team and enterprise options available for larger firms. No long-term contracts required, and a free trial lets teams test the full platform before committing.
