## Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform Reviews
  ### 1. Really smooth setup

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joey K. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

What I like the best is definitely the smooth way of setting up a CI. When I setup the CI for our android build, I think it took about a day, and that was it. Also for newcomers it is super easy to understand!

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

One thing that they could improve on is their customer service. I made some tickets and they were helped really fast, the only thing is that others in my team I've heard sometimes don't get a response back.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are a bunch of CI tools already available, but where I think Bitrise really shines is the ease of setup and maintenance. That is why the main benefit is that we have just been able to spend way more time on developing, which I think is super good.

  ### 2. Perfect CI for mobile

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Easy, effortless CI pipeline with great documentation. Point at the repository and it's simply working.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Developing custom steps can be a little challenging, but support is always there to help you if you have questions.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cross-platform mobile app continuous integration/delivery

  ### 3. Massive timesaver!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Max M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Easy to setup and massive timesaver! Because of all the available plug-ins we can have all the integrations we need and the team is really supportive if you run into issues.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Configuring multiple instances of the same app could use some work. I currently have a lot of workflows which are 99% similar but only have 1 small deviation, which app variant is build for instance. It would be great if I could pass stuff as a variable into a workflow, so i don't have multiple workflows which go like, install -> configure -> build -> sign -> upload and the only change is a property of the build step.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deploying test builds used to cost me a lot of time. We had some react-native apps with a couple of flavours and variants which all used to be build and deployed by hand. Using Bitrise has saved me at least a couple of hours of waiting for such builds each week!

  ### 4. Convienient tool for iOS and Android as well as for deployment.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rohin S. | Team Lead, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

It is ease to use and very easy tool for iOS and Android for deployed the production code of builds. It is easy to set up and also there are various popular tools like BitBucket , Jira , Slack , GitHub that integrate with Bitrise.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Process of integration was not good and its taking time , also need to add more features.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its a user friendly tool for both iOS and Android.

  ### 5. Super easy and fun to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Bitrise is absolutely the best from every aspect!

This product is truly made for developers, and therefore it is super easy and fun to use.

Everything is ready for you out of the box, just a couple of clicks and your CI/CD environment is good to go. The whole building process works like charm, but they also give your information what is going on behind the scenes.

If you want to try out a new thing, you just have to add it from the Steps Library, which is already huge and growing. But if you can't find the desired step, you can always make your own and share with the others. There is always a way to get it done with Bitrise!

It is well documented and you can basically can find anything, but if not, the community or the Bitrise folks always helping you out.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

The user interface can be a little bit slow sometimes.
During busy hours you have to wait a couple of minutes to start your build.

**Recommendations to others considering Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform:**

If you are a mobile developer, you should definitely give it a try! It will save you a lot of time.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Running tests, make sure the code is well formatted and compiling automatically when a pull request is opened.
Building and signing production apps with just a couple of clicks.

  ### 6. A straightforward and easy to use CI for all mobile platforms

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew M. | Senior iOS Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

• The ability to manage all my projects in one place.
I have used it for native iOS and Android applications, as well as React-Native ones.

• The ease of setup.
It is possible to go from nothing to having a build within 10 minutes. Even users with limited experience of Bitrise are able to quickly onboard themselves and get builds working.

• The steps
Being able to see the steps visually rather than reading a yml file makes setting up a complicated workflow really easy. The library of inhouse steps and the community provided steps is fantastic. I have even written a few steps myself to give back to the community.

• Variables
Being able to easily store and use variables is so useful. Especially being able to mark them as unreadable so those that shouldn't be seeing saved passwords or keys are unable to.

• Cost
The entry package on Bitrise is fantastic (zero cost!!!). Being able to create a workflow, without having to pay, allows me to quickly test ideas, steps that I have built. Then if I need more I can easily upgrade.

• User management
Being able to have different types of user makes managing the projects more simple. Having some users only having access to the see the result of the builds means that you don't have to worry about steps being accidentally altered.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

I haven't really come across anything that I dislike. One thing that I would like to have as a feature would be backing up workflows so that incase they are accidentally deleted they can be recovered.

**Recommendations to others considering Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform:**

Give it a go, it is definitely worth it.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have used Bitrise for building Android, iOS, and React-Native mobile applications. It is so useful to have all of these in one place. As I mentioned above, the setup is very easy and within about 10 minutes I have a basic build configured.

  ### 7. Best tool for mobile CI/CD on the market

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Clear UI, easy configuration, pipelines and hooks

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Android emulators have some minor stability issues.

**Recommendations to others considering Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform:**

Try the trial period and see for yourself if it's the tool you need. :)

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest benefit is running UI tests on mobile devices, other than that the whole pipeline integration and hooks are a big plus.

  ### 8. Easy and efficient!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin T. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Apart from getting up and running within minutes I do appreciate that the support team is readily available to assist with any issues. From experience they literally replied within 3 minutes from me submitting a ticket. This level of service is unheard of.

The way logs are presented makes it easy to see what went wrong with builds and at which step. The data is grouped into a logical and concise manner.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

I would like to have the ability to duplicate build plans including the workflow, secrets, variables, triggers and permissions.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CI/CD for a team of 50+ people with 100s of commits and builds per week.

This adds massive value when integrating with Github. We don't have broken develop branches anymore since a build has to pass before it may be merged. This saves hours of dev time every week.

  ### 9. Batteries Included CI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vince S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Templates for the project types I'm working on (Flutter) that reach to signing and app store deployment. Push button repository configuration. Flexibility in project types with an extension ecosystem.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Sometimes the documentation is a bit out of date. I.e. they have new ways of doing something but their docs might reference a prior way and a blog is the only thing that references the new (and improved) way. That said, the docs are pretty good.

**Recommendations to others considering Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform:**

Really good mobile app support. Another alternative to look at is appcenter.ms but their documentation is much more opaque. Non mobile CI workflows are totally possible to maximize the build usage. GitLab/Github CI/TeamCity will require more boilerplate/overhead for features required for the full development lifecycle, especially for mobile dev.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enabling junior or non-devs interact with the CI workflow without compromising flexibility. Configuration-as-code is first class and its excellent.

  ### 10. CI environment of mobile application that can experience the best

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2019

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

There is probably only Bitrese, the major CI service that iOS build is prepared for free plan, so if you are interested please try it once.

It corresponds to the latest version of Xcode faster than other CI services.

In the case of iOS build in Bitrese, there is prepared a script that makes it easy to combine provisioning profile and certificate and upload.

In the environment you distribute as Adhoc Certificate, if you cooperate Apple accounts, you will automatically download the latest provisioning profile at build time.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

if I’m forced to say,
There are times when it is difficult to analyze build logs on error from the Web Browser

**Recommendations to others considering Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform:**

It is a service that is overwhelmingly easy to use among CI services of mobile applications, has careful support, and responds to users in a very sincere manner.

Usage fees are reasonable and maintenance costs are low for operating CI.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Bitrise to create an environment to build and distribute Android & iOS applications automatically every time the code changes.

As the distribution environment became automatic, we were able to turn the development cycle fairly quickly and the quality was stable.

  ### 11. Well thought and delivered even better

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gaurav A. | Senior Associate IT, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

I like how Bitrise does not just provide a complete solution for CI-CD but it takes it a step further by allowing customized flows with customizable "steps". This can fit almost any workflow one can think of. If I don't find a "step" that does something I need, I can write a script and implement any workflow.
It's great that you guys made it do only one thing and do it the best.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Nothing to dislike but if I write something here, maybe simplify user-management because personal and official sections are a little confusing at first.

**Recommendations to others considering Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform:**

If you are thinking of appcenter vs bitrise, go with bitrise and thank me later.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've used Bitrise for building react native apps. I've been using it in my last 3-4 projects and I've tried appcenter also but I definitely like Bitrise much better.

  ### 12. Game Changer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nadav H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

So easy to setup and use. From maintaining a Jenkins slave that needed TLC at least once a week (not to mention the well aimed down time just when an urgent build was in the pipeline), to a hassle free, zero maintenance setup. Game changer on many levels.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

UX could use some touch ups here and there (yep, step destructive button being the next logical step when you finish configuration, I'm looking at you). But it's really minor stuff.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mobile app CI/CD. Just offloads. Tons of work from the team and requires zero maintenance.

  ### 13. A robust CI/CD with no efforts from you

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nikolai K. | Lead Android Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

I've chosen Bitrise about three years ago for it's clean interface and visual workflow build. The vast build-step collection with open-source distribution covered all of my daily CI needs and many more.
The above two factors made me to choose Bitrise at the time of initial CI integration when I had about zero dev-ops skills.
It is worth noting Bitrise has also a decent team-management tool, and a CLI-tool with local build execution to eliminate “It works on my Mac/PC but not on bitrise.io” kind of problems.
The service had never let me down for all this time and over 5500 builds and the support team is always there to help with config or build-step updates.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

It's hard to come up with downsides :)
But if you are accustomed with another conventional services with yaml-configs the syntax and workflow building approach is different and visual-first. The yaml is also there but it is more a backup solution I guess...

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Bitrise for a complete Android app work-flow:
- feature-branch building
- pull-requests
- release builds
- Play Market deploy.
The service is integrated with Jira Cloud and BitBucket

  ### 14. Great product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tomasz B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

I value the most ease of use. We have been able to introduce and train in CI setup our devs, because the platform is so accessible. It was a pleasant surprise to learn that Bitrise can distribute development versions of our projects, this made our life easier for smaller projects. Another major benefit is speed of adoption of new toolsets for iOS.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

So far I haven't found anything that I don't like. The product is a big upgrade compared to what I was using before. The log may be sometimes hard to navigate, but to be honest - none of the competition have solved the problem yet.

**Recommendations to others considering Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform:**

Make your decision after testing it on internal project during a trial period. For me it has been the best way to evaluate quality of the product.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The most important issue that Bitrise is solving for me right now is setting up CI the first day we start a new project.

Other than this, the platform is providing us with the build and test automation at scale. This helps with quality of our work. Ease of use changes our continuous integration process from arcane knowledge into a wide-spread practice.

  ### 15. Bitirse is great for Continuous Deployment, Build Automation, and Continuous Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brandon B. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

The ability to auto-build your XCode & Android projects from a Github push and have them deploy to the App Store and Google Play Stores.

You can set up multiple hooks for branches and do different things depending on the branch. (i.e. Run unit tests, deploy to Beta Testers)

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Sometimes the project setup can be a bit cumbersome. It takes multiple build iterations for it to be successful due to setup errors that are found at different stages of the build process. For example, the App Store upload is the final step and when that fails, you have to start your entire build over to retest, all because the signing certificate was invalid.

**Recommendations to others considering Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform:**

It's great. Nicely designed. The support staff is great and have detailed knowledge to push you in the right direction.
Their documentation is also great. There's a growing community of people who know how to use the product and have run into similar problems. Solutions can be found on their website, Stack Overflow, or Github issues.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The building, Validating, and Uploading to App Store is a very long process and takes manual time to do.

With Bitrise, you just push your code to Github and all of that happens in the background for you.

  ### 16. Best UX CI System Ever.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julián F. | Technical Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

The simplicity. In the past years, the UX was only centered on the final users, not on the devs. But now the UX matters and the Bitrise team knows that. This is a CI System for UI Devs (Mobile), by UI Devs.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Honestly, I don't have anything in mind that I don't like on Bitrise. I can say that the free plan is very limited. I hope that they can increase the build times for the normal devs. This is a problem because I really like to use Bitrise until in my test projects!, and for example, in iOS the build times are very long (iOS environment sucks!) and the free Bitrise plan is not enough :(

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Continuous Integration and Delivery for my mobile apps (Android and iOS).

Main benefit: in 10 minutes I have a complete CI & CD system configured.

  ### 17. Really intuitive and quite handy as CI tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Quite intuitive and very easy to onboard any new application for Mobile. Also, the Scripting steps makes almost everything possible, as all custom steps can be configured and REST API can be scripted.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Currently, doesn't support Web Application CI

**Recommendations to others considering Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform:**

It's really intuitive to use and handy CI tool

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems: We have a list of Mobile Apps. It's difficult to manage the builds for both Android and iOS Apps.

Benefits: With Bitrise, both Android and iOS builds can be integrated and stored within a single CI platform. Also, with all out of the box code quality check steps and docker environments, the team is following standard coding guidelines, eliminating any local dependencies. Each pull/push requests are now monitored and well integrated with SCM.

  ### 18. Quick and easy to set up!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cassiano M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Super easy to customize workflows for build, test and deploy with minor or no scripting. Also super easy to configure code signing and integration with github.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Nothing, so far it's pretty good. I had a minor issue, but their forums and customer support were pretty quick to help me.

**Recommendations to others considering Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform:**

Definitely go for it if you're using any other CI environment which is not customized for mobile needs. Saves a lot of lost time configuring and writing scripts.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Faster CI with low maintenance efforts and better customization for mobile applications.

  ### 19. Awesome CI platform for mobile

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vazgen A. | Trading Systems Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

I was able to set up continous integration for my iOS within 2 days, which I think is pretty impressive. It usually takes me much longer. So definitely big up for simplicity for Bitrise.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

I have to re-authenticate with 2 factor auth every 60 or so day but that seems to be an Apple imposed limitation not bitrise. Also, it's not that big a deal.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used Bitrise for CI for my iOS app. It's helped decouple the emotions between writing code and deploying it. Where deployment used to be a long an arduous process I now do not even think about. I just write code and wait a little for a shiny new build that I can download to my phone.

  ### 20. Most intuitive and versatile (CI/CD) platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marko R. | Software developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2019

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Bitrise with their beautiful UI makes the setup for build automation, continuous delivery, and continuous integration a really effortless and straight forward process. It supports git Integration out of the box and has a huge amount of third-party services available as workflow steps, which saved me a lot of time in the long run.

The best thing about Bitrise is its ingenious functionality called workflows. Workflows are reusable collections of different steps, which are reusable within different workflows and are simply customized with the use of environment variables. This allows one to reuse preexisting workflows in different project stages without bloating up existing build configuration.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

I'm yet to discover the downsides of Bitrise but haven't so far.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bitrise is intuitive and simple to configure CI/CD.
We were primarily using Bitrise for continuous integration and build automation of our ReactNative project, but have now integrated continuous delivery aswell.

  ### 21. Bitrise offers great UX and supports new versions of iOS extremely fast.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anthony S. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Ease of use. It is extremely easy to setup and the up time is great. We have had no downtime or technical issues for over 2 years now.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

I can't think of much other than the cost, but Bitrise is already very competitively priced.

**Recommendations to others considering Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform:**

Switch over as soon as possible if you are doing iOS development, you can't go wrong!

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping us implement CI/CD for our iOS application. Bitrise has saved many developer hours and increased quality of life of our development cycle.

  ### 22. I do not see any serious development without a proper CI/CD. Bitrise is the CI/CD for mobile dev.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Individual & Family Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Actions, openenes, can version the build script, can run locally, support, community.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

UI and screen take time to refresh and open sometime.

**Recommendations to others considering Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform:**

It just works. What else can i say.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

From my laptop to any phone as often as i need with a click or a commit.

  ### 23. Simple to configure and one of the easiest build online system!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matteo D. | Software developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Workflow concepts, configurations and flexibility.
Backup, save and export these configurations is quick. It also saved me a lot of time.
UI is easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Often the status is down and there are a lot of build that fail. Helpdesk is a bit slow to respond but it's always able to answer.
Team sharing is a somewhat confusing: too many possibilities and permissions not well manageable.
Last, no update on when and what stacks are updated and so can happen that your build stops suddenly to work.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm building React Native apps for an enterprise large customer and I'm happy with them. Several configurations in place, Android and iOS too, with multiple workflows.

  ### 24. Great CI tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John S. | Senior Android Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

It's very customizable with open source plugins, ands supports Android wonderfully (including deployment to the Play store)

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Nothing ;) it's a lot more full featured than even Testflight. Plugins and build workflows are updated often, which is helpful.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We deploy many whitelabels at once and Bitrise makes it easy to batch build and upload binaries easily. Fast builds, no hassles, very very little downtime.

  ### 25. Best mobile CI/CD available, just point it to your repo and go.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joshua L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

It was super quick to setup and get going with some really sane defaults. Customizing my setup later as the project grew in complexity was also easy. Having the ability to chose what development stack is also great, I can switch between various Xcode versions easily.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

GitHub integration gives too much permission. I recognize this is on GitHub to provide a better API that isn't an all-or-nothing deal, but maybe you should also present better options for not using the default "we can delete your data if hacked" setup.

**Recommendations to others considering Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform:**

Try it out, it's certainly quick and easy to setup. I'll never go back to Jenkins.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I primarily use it as a CI for testing PR changes.

  ### 26. So easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

The pricing is very resonable, please dont increase it, and very easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Please make it cheaper. Nothing else but one thing that can be improved is if I'm using one machine and I suddenly want to scale to a hundred machines for the next hour this is very impractical on bitrise.

**Recommendations to others considering Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform:**

Its the netflix subcrition of all you can, build as much as you want for the same price but on demand scalling can be complicated.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Daily bulds, able to automise launching 40 different apps for customers all at the same time.

  ### 27. Best interface for CI system I ever used

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eugene N. | React Native developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Super easy to start CI for mobile developers. Greatly simplifies app signing for iOS and Android without learning fastlane. Good support.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Would be good to have macOS performance on par with linux machines. But I'm not sure apple pricing will allow to do it without changing subscription prices.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Building mobile apps. Usual benefits of CI system tailored for mobile developers

  ### 28. As easy as pie

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Supermarkets | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

The workflows make my life easier. They're easy to create because it's a linear process. Skipping a step in the workflow if the previous one failed is also an outcome, as you may be depending on 3rd party that's unreachable for some reason. This should not always affect your build process and now it won't!

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Too many workflows may clutter the configuration. But that may as well be my head that clutters.
Though as a feature request, I'd like to somehow see that workflows share a same base.

My workflows all look the same, except for 1 variable. I have the same workflows for Dev and Acc builds, except for the variable that contains 'Dev' or 'Acc'. Prod does the same, except it contains an extra step to sign my build and send it to the store.
Or is this already possible? Perhaps I should look into it further...

**Recommendations to others considering Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform:**

Eat some pie. Review how easy it was. Move over to Bitrise and experience the same.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our testers watch Slack for build messages and are able to get the correct build when a feature has been merged. Our process of developing, merging, building and testing has been fully automated. We don't need to inform eachother anymore of new builds coming up (except edge cases), etc.

  ### 29. Easy to use, easy to learn

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** pedro f. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Automatization of the process, making it easy and reproducible, also the integrations to other platforms.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

The time that it takes to finishing building the process, some erros that are not that explained making it difficult to see what did happen.

**Recommendations to others considering Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform:**

Easy to use, it will make your life better !

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving problems related to interactions from dev team to test team, making it way better to test and making it faster too.

  ### 30. The easiest CI toolbox I tried

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2019

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

After you spend some time configuring your project it just works. Very easily.
And if you need to modify one of the steps, it is trivial to set up a custom step on you own Github account.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Sometimes the steps takes time to be updated. If you provide a pull request for a step that you modify, it could take months before it is reviewed. In this way you lose new versions of the same step, because you are still on your own version.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to enforce some process rules that we have, for instance:
- you need to modify the changelog on each merge request.
- your merge request must not break existing tests.
etc.

It is easy with Bitrise (and other tools running as steps) to enforce such rules.

Other benefits are that we configure different workflows for different configurations of our apps and deploy directly from Bitrise to the stores or to Fabric/Firebase beta.

  ### 31. Brilliant service, use it every day!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alastair M. | Contract Technomage, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Easy to set up, and a huge number of pre-built integrations. Stacks are updated regularly, and pricing is transparent and fair.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Nothing except the ever-present risk that Apple buys them as they did with Buddybuild!

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Efficient and low-maintenance CI for our iOS and Android apps, without being tied to vendor-specific platforms.

  ### 32. Awesome CI solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eduardo U. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

I love how easy it is to use it with mobile apps, to configure the deploy flow and run all the tests of your application.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Sometimes it's a bit confusing how the UI elements are distributed in the website.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bitrise helps me to create the executable file of my application and upload it to testflight without the need of owning a mac exclusive for this purpose.

  ### 33. Bes CI/CD For Mobile Applications

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Süleyman . | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Easy to use and developer friendly. Rich integrations.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Build time of free tier is short and some projects can not be build in that time.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Applications delivery process became more easier and less time consuming.

  ### 34. Bitrise has transformed our mobile delivery

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam W. | Lead iOS Developer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Bitrise is just so simple. I lead the mobile team in a fast-growing start-up. When I joined the the Continuous Integration or delivery pipeline was non-existent. We set up sophisticated workflows for feature, development and releases for both Android and iOS in a matter of an hour or so. It's so simple with the drag and drop editor. Very reliable too. Bitrise has transformed our mobile delivery.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

There's not much I dislike, but a few feature ideas:
- Automatic provisioning profile management on iOS (it's annoying to add new devices at the moment)
- A page to view a history of installable builds

**Recommendations to others considering Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform:**

Do it. You won't regret it.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Increased quality. Increased rate of delivery. Huge time savings.

  ### 35. Bitrise is an automatization tool that saves a LOT of time when it comes to generate app versions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gerard R. | iOS App Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

The capability to automatically generate various versions from various targets and have everything configured and automated. You don't even have to send an email to the client, saying to them that you have released a new version. Bitrise does it for you! It really saves a LOT of time.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Perhaps it's a little bit overwhelming at the beginning, but when you get used to it, it is really useful.

**Recommendations to others considering Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform:**

Consider using it, it really speeds up the process to build App versions a lot.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I mentioned before, now I don't have to worry about generating app versions manually, i simply push my changes to github, and Bitrise does the rest!

  ### 36. Makes CI easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jack S. | Engineering Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Ease of use
Intuitive UI
Short queues (no queues!)
Good tooling and plugins
Uses fastlane

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Config not in code
Some of the UI routes were a bit confusing

**Recommendations to others considering Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform:**

Quickest to setup and easiest to maintain of all the mobile CI/CD solutions for iOS and android apps

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CI and CD so I can merge to master in GitHub and the code is built, tagged and uploaded to TestFlight
When raising PRs to master in GitHub having Bitrise run my test suite

  ### 37. Mobile app feature parity 🎉

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mental Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Bitrise affords low-friction multiplatform deployment, allowing us to keep our iOS and Android apps in sync by deploying through a single workflow.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Ocassional upstream deprecation. It's not always known that a step in a workflow needs to be updated until there's a breaking change.

**Recommendations to others considering Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform:**

The workflow configurations are shareable as yaml files. If you can find someone with a similar workflow who is willing to share, you can modify theirs rather than starting from zero.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our team doesn't have a lot of devops resources, and Bitrise, once set up, allows us to focus on other aspects of our projects. The way in which secrets are stored privately allows for our distributed team to use the same signing keys without having to actually share the keys themselves.

  ### 38. Bitrise dramatically improved our testing & deploy workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Will A. | Undergraduate Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Bitrise simplifies our entire workflow by managing it remotely allowing us developers to focus on building quality applications rather than constant working on our CI processes. Integration with other services we use make it super helpful too.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Realistically I can’t think of many downsides!

**Recommendations to others considering Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform:**

Simply and easy to use! Can definitely recommend for small organisations.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We’ve revolutionised our workflow as a team by using Bitrise.

  ### 39. How to do a very complicated task with just a couple of Bitrise workflows

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Bitrise allow you a full project process, from validate all tests until to build and send an apk.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Sometimes bitrise seems to be stuck. But after a while, it returns to a stable status.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am solving a lint, testing, and building apks just with a simple click.

  ### 40. It just works!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas T. | Lead App Developer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2019

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

All the various premade plugins that make the setup process easy. Furthermore, the local version of the workflow-editor makes the development process a ease.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

There is nothing special that I can think of right now

**Recommendations to others considering Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform:**

If you want something something that you can test both online and locally Bitrise could be the platform for you. They have full support for both Android, iOS and are usually up to date on the new releases on the platforms.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ease of running all type of tests on both Android and iOS without any big issues. Both platforms was up and running in under one day from we started to we saw the first green build on Bitrise.

  ### 41. Great for Building your Apps

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Bitrise offers both a great user experience building your workflows with their snappy ui as well as very detailed configuration via yaml file. Combined with the ton of integrations with third party services and tools Bitrise is very good choice when it comes to CI for mobile apps.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Loading times could be improved. In some cases it was hard to find specific things in the documentation. In general the documentation is pretty good though and it also improves.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For our native mobile apps and shared Kotlin Multiplatform project we
* Run pull request checks
* Build and distribute test versions and release candidates
* Build and release candidates and deploy them to the stores

  ### 42. Bitrise is the best!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

How easy it is to integrate into our existing workflows. We were previously building apps locally, and it was difficult to integrate it into some of our other workflows. Once we started building apps using Bitrise, integrating into our workflows became much easier.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

It was a bit challenging to set up, especially Android. But, the support team was super helpful in getting us going. Once we got everything set up, we've had no issues.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Bitrise to build iOS and Android apps without slowing down our development machines locally. This has freed up development time on our end, as well as allowed us to iterate more quickly.

  ### 43. Excellent, easy to setup CI/CD tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matteo I. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Ease of use, extensibility with all the plusins (aka steps), reliability over time

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Nothing relevant but the iOS code signing could be made a little simpler

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being notified asap of any issues introduced in the codebase is fundamental for all kind of projects. Also with the continuous deployment developers are spending way less time on deploys and be more focused on development.

  ### 44. A great mobile CI solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christoph H. | Team Lead Mobile Development, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2019

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

I really love the flexibility of bitrise.io. You can start with a default workflow that takes care of building and distributing an app adding more steps as you go. If the library of steps is not enough you can just build your own step. You can even run you jobs on your local machine. If you prefer to write a config file instead of using the GUI it's also possible.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Bitrise is limited to mobile apps. I would love to use it also for web app deployments.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bitrise allows us the get benefits of CI / CD even in small teams without a dedicated DevOps position. The role management makes it easy to onboard partners and third party developers on an per app base.

  ### 45. Easy to use CI/CD service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Setup takes minutes; clear branch->flow mapping management; wide range of existing steps.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

The UI is little bit slow comparing to other services.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Good fit for the projects where changes in the codebase are not allowed, as App Center custom scripts and GitHub Actions needs to be configured/stored in the repository.

  ### 46. Extremely easy configuration with many options.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Artur D. | Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

I could create CI flows for my applications without any issues (ios and non-ios). A lot of configurable steps + just scripts ones. Navigation on the website is very easy and clear. What I also like was the number of VM with different xcode/toolchain.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

I couldn't easily just copy my CI job. There was a "YAML" present, but I could use it as input in creating a job, only configure the existing job. My scenario was to make almost the same jobs, with the same repo, VM.

**Recommendations to others considering Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform:**

Just try it out.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me to manage my freelance project. Especially if I work with other people and the configuration of project is important. As a freelancer, I don't have my own machines to run CI builds.

  ### 47. Great application for Mobile App Developers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Varun M. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

The documentation and ease of use and setup

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Need to upgrade the stacks manually. Some errors that occur while deploying a new build is just because of an old version of stack

**Recommendations to others considering Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform:**

The documentation is self-explanatory. Always read the documentation before implementing any feature of bitrise

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deploying iOS and Android apps directly to their store without wasting time and resources on our machine. It largely helps to deploy the apps and work on the next set of tasks at the same time since the apps are being deployed from another machine.

  ### 48. Powerful CI/CD for all mobile apps

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Winson L. | VP, Core Product Development, Civic & Social Organization, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2019

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Focused and straightforward toolset for mobile apps. We are on bitrise for the whole pipeline, from PR merged into master to releasing on Play and App stores.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

We are on the Elite plan, so I must say, it's the cost.

**Recommendations to others considering Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform:**

Try it, and you will no longer need to spend repeated effort integrating your apps any more!

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our mobile developers do not need to manually run builds, deploys, versioning, testing. All those are handled by bitrise.

  ### 49. Best mobile development DevOps product, by far!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marco S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

It integrates any CI & CD workflow with App/Play Store . It automates the otherwise unbearable Xcode manual distribution system.

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

Not much really. Common use cases like a standard React Native iOS/Android are not as straight-forward as they could be, but then again, pretty quickly you'll have to diverge from that common use case so its not a bad thing to build the workflow yourself and understand what you're doing.

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Building and distributing 20+ apps from the same source code without wasting precious time for developers.

  ### 50. Life saver

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Xavier T. | Junior iOS Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

It makes everything smooth and easy, for each the costumer and the team

**What do you dislike about Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform?**

The webpage is a bit overloaded and sometimes it is difficult to load the page

**Recommendations to others considering Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform:**

Very useful

**What problems is Bitrise Mobile DevOps Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Handing our mobile app versions and saving tons of time
