What do you like best about Beyond Compare?

What do you dislike about Beyond Compare?

Takes time when the data set is huge. The cache technique doesn't work for network location. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Beyond Compare solving and how is that benefiting you?

To compare the pre-change data with post-change data of a huge dataset in Excel format that has millions of rows.

Regression testing is easily performed using Beyond Compare.

Folder Compare is wonderful in retrieving the folder's data.

What do you like best about Beyond Compare?

Content comparison between files; it shows the small changes as well, such as spaces, symbols. Integration with the Microsoft Team Foundation Server works fine. Folder comparison also works fine. The Differences feature is very nice; it shows only differences between the files properly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Beyond Compare?

Sometimes when we resolve the conflicts using beyond compare, it does not save the file. Also, sometimes when we merge the changeset from one branch to another branch in TFS and beyond compare is integrated, then target file changes don't get saved. For PDF file comparison, it shows the difference even though all the content is the same. This problem occurs in binary comparison. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
