It turns static analyses into interactive tools, aligns teams, and makes updates and sharing fast so value stories land. We even connected it via API to our datalake to prefill hospital data, and moved from Showpad for its stronger Excel needs and SQL driven database. **What do you dislike about Basecase?** One challenge with BaseCase is that there can be a bit of a learning curve at the start especially when you’re working with more advanced logic or SQL-driven data setups. It also requires good upfront structure and planning. If your model or data isn’t well organized, it can take time to set things up properly before you really see the benefits. **What problems is Basecase solving and how is that benefiting you?** BaseCase mainly solves a practical problem for us: our models used to sit in spreadsheets and weren’t very usable in real conversations. With BaseCase, we solved a practical gap we had with Showpad. Showpad looked great, but we needed something with a stronger Excel-like engine behind it. BaseCase gives us that depth while still letting us build a very similar UI/UX, so we didn’t have to compromise on the front end. The result is we can run more complex logic and data in the background, while still keeping the experience clean and usable in conversations. ### 2. One feature I’ve particularly enjoyed is the recent AI integration. I’ve connected BaseCase with ChatGPT to build a smart inventory for references and documents, which is one of the countless ways to make a good and productive use of AI. From a design and usability perspective, the platform is very flexible. If you have an eye for design, you can create truly beautiful and polished presentations. But even without that, it’s incredibly user-friendly and makes it easy to put together clean, professional visuals. It also integrates seamlessly with SSO, which made it very easy to introduce the tool to my internal team and colleagues. In terms of performance, the apps I’ve created can handle very complex calculations instantly and scale effortlessly to support large numbers of users. I also had the opportunity to collaborate with the BaseCase consulting team, and that was a standout experience. They helped create a thoughtfully designed, visually appealing UI that fits my needs perfectly, and it’s simple enough that I can easily update it myself as new data comes in. Finally, the pricing is very compelling for the value it delivers, especially considering the sales impact I’ve achieved using tools built in BaseCase. Overall, BaseCase has significantly improved both the quality of my presentations and my workflow. Its user-friendliness and ease of use make it a powerful tool for anyone looking to move beyond static slides and create something more interactive and impactful. **What do you dislike about Basecase?** After more than three years of using BaseCase, I have no complaints. Whenever I’ve requested additional features, the team has taken them into consideration and, in many cases, implemented them in the platform soon after. **What problems is Basecase solving and how is that benefiting you?** I used to rely heavily on PowerPoint for fairly basic slides, but BaseCase has taken things to a completely different level. It allows me to create highly interactive, dynamic presentations that are far more engaging and impactful for my audience. ### 3. It minimizes data leakage risks since the field team can fully use and change models without accessing the raw Excel data. I appreciate that when teams adopt Basecase, they get better at their job; in fact, teams using the platform saw a more than 45% increase in sales compared to those who chose not to use it. I also like that the designers build out our tools using our branding guidelines, which get approved with minimal input from my team, using just a few feedback comments. They employ UI/UX experts and Health Econ project managers, which adds to the quality. Additionally, I find that the initial setup of Basecase was easy, and early adopters showing results helped to get more of my team to convert. **What do you dislike about Basecase?** Building in-house is a bit too hard for me, as I rather pay for build-out but there is a learning curve. The data security is also a major benefit, keeping sensitive health economic data protected and compliant, while only having 1 or 2 admins has minimized chances of data leakage. I also like that teams have harmonized content while going to clients, meaning all reps use the same information with the flexibility of having scenarios. **What do you dislike about Basecase?** We are using Basecase's internal consulting team to build apps, then we take these global apps and localize. The apps delivered by their team look better than the ones our team localizes. I wish it was easier for our teams to build in-house; the apps work well but the design tends to lack a bit. Our vendor onboarding is hard, but they go through it. It takes time, but that could be an us problem. **What problems is Basecase solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Basecase to scale evidence use, ensuring compliant, approved materials. It supports discussions and decision-making, reduces data leakage risks, and harmonizes content for seamless client engagement. Offline mode and data security protect and enable our team's work effectively. ### 5.
