AxioExtract Reviews & Product Details

AxioExtract is a specialized tool designed to extract structured data from a variety of technical documents, including engineering drawings, exploded assemblies with parts lists, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Spare Parts and Interchangeability Records (SPIR) workbooks, invoices, and office documents. By processing formats such as PDF, PNG, JPG, DOCX, XLSX, CSV, DXF, and IFC, AxioExtract converts complex documents into organized data that can be reviewed and exported in formats like Excel, Google Sheets, JSON, or XML. One of the key features of AxioExtract is its ability to interpret drawings beyond simple Optical Character Recognition (OCR). It reads title blocks, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) callouts, balloon numbers, and ISA instrument tags in context, ensuring accurate data extraction. The platform supports batch processing of multiple file formats, allowing users to upload various documents simultaneously. Each extracted value is linked back to its exact location on the original page, with low-confidence readings flagged for user review, enhancing data accuracy and trustworthiness. AxioExtract offers flexible export options, enabling users to correct any discrepancies in the review grid before downloading the data as an Excel workbook, exporting it as JSON or XML for integration with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, or copying it directly into a Google Sheet. The platform operates on a transparent credit-based pricing system, charging per page based on document complexity, with a detailed ledger available to track credit usage. Security is a priority for AxioExtract. Uploaded files are stored in a private bucket scoped to the user's organization, with row-level security and workspace roles ensuring controlled access. The platform adheres to a clear security and compliance policy, providing users with confidence in data privacy and protection. For SPIR workbooks, AxioExtract reads standard templates directly, capturing tag groups, parts lists, and the tag-part quantity matrix without the need for manual retyping. Users can generate a bill of materials (BOM) from SPIR reads, with validation flags for missing part numbers, zero quantities, and duplicate line merging, streamlining the procurement process. The workflow in AxioExtract is straightforward: users upload single or multiple files and select the appropriate document profile. The document is displayed alongside a grid with highlighted mark-ups, allowing users to correct any discrepancies. After review, the data can be exported in the desired format, facilitating seamless integration into existing systems. AxioExtract supports a wide range of input formats, including single or multi-page PDFs, scans, photographs, Word documents, Excel workbooks, CSV files, AutoCAD exchange drawings (DXF), and Building Information Modeling (BIM) models (IFC). The platform's versatility in handling various document types and formats makes it a valuable tool for professionals dealing with technical documentation, enabling efficient data extraction and management.
