As Avast is used worldwide, we trust this Antivirus software and using in our Amazon Linux Machines too. It helps us in protecting our Prod Data from the vulnerabilities . Its timely scans give us more accurate and good results in data Protection. Its Installation of virus definition, even in Docker Containers, becomes easy and simple. We have integrated with NGINX (f5) as well. Most likely, its Package comes with core scanner service and Command line utility which helps us for On-Demand scanning. Even though we are utilizing this solution, we didn't face any issues so far. But, we suggest some more improvements, and it's Automated scanner faciltiy from scripts should be improved. If the script Executed with the crontab schedule, this program should initialize the scanning process automatically. If this improves, rest of other things are fine. As the avast package contains a command line scan utility, it allows us for on-demand scanning as well. So that,no worries about time and schedule. We can configure the Antivirus scans, Command Line scans, File server scans as well. Its greatly minimizes our efforts to protect the Data Resources from vulnerable attacks. E.g. when patches were needed, I'd like to have known what patches needed to be installed. I have been using Avast since 2014. Earlier it had basic protection only. But with the changing times, Avast Team had added protection at so many levels that not is a complete Anti-Virus Protection suite in itself. It provides 4 core shields i.e. File, Web, Email and Real Site. It also provides Wifi Inspector and Ransomware Shield. Now, they added the two best things i.e. VPN service and Avast Cleaner. I cannot remember how many times the web shield protected me when some malware infected file was being downloaded. Moreover, the VPN service is a boon for Digital Marketer. If you want to see the local SEO results in any country (for Local SEO), just set the VPN to that country and now you are set to see the same Google Search results like any native will see.
