So stick to the big cities. **Recommendations to others considering ArcGIS Insights:** Just do it. **What problems is ArcGIS Insights solving and how is that benefiting you?** I find the answers to water/sewer lines for properties. The dashboard interface is like a geospatial version of Tableau or Power BI. It takes your map-making to the next level in terms of presenting to stakeholders. **What do you dislike about ArcGIS Insights?** The visualization options are a bit limited. It would be ideal if there we're more widgets to choose from. Their road map indicates more functionality is coming to address the limitation. **Recommendations to others considering ArcGIS Insights:** Insights fills the Geospatial visualization gaps that are lacking with other data visualization / BI tools. It's pretty easy to use, although there are still some constraints. I'm excited about the planned updates (i.e. integrating R and python) and will be using this product in a few of my workflows to improve efficiency. **What do you dislike about ArcGIS Insights?** Still a few constraints. For example, data registered on ArcOnline will not join -- feature classes need to be hosted in order to join them using Insights online. **Recommendations to others considering ArcGIS Insights:** The most frustrating part is setting up Portal and Enterprise in order to use it in Enterprise. **What problems is ArcGIS Insights solving and how is that benefiting you?** It creates a more seamless workflow for data analysis and visualization. It also saves the process steps so that the workflow can be run multiple times, and so the workflow is not forgotten. ### 14. The powerful web map interface ensures information is available wherever you go. It has saved fuel and time by streamlining communication so crews/workers can drive point to point. **What do you dislike about ArcGIS Insights?** Its all about the Cost ($$$). once you get past the difficulty of justifying the expense (which was very hard to swallow) it finally made sense. However we took a leap of faith. **Recommendations to others considering ArcGIS Insights:** you need to do you due diligence, as ArcGIS didn't make its own case for us. **What problems is ArcGIS Insights solving and how is that benefiting you?** Integrated collection of GIS software products; provides a standards-based platform for spatial analysis, data management, and mapping. ### 15.
