Exenta ERP Edition was implemented several years ago in our organization. This implementation allowed us to move away from legacy systems and move onto a reliable platform with a knowledgeable support team. This assured our company that we had a team of skilled members to support us rather than relying on his house support. Exenta ERP also allowed us the take advantage of multiple applications that were lacking within our organization, providing us with a solid core system. From seamless EDI integrations and Order Management, detailed Style Master configurations, Warehouse Management, Production Order Management, and reporting tools, Exenta ERP Edition provided our company the opportunity to utilize a single system for our business operations. Exenta ERP has also given us the ability to integrate some components of our business needs with external vendors, such as our freight forwarders, 3PL's, and Manufacturers. Once we had the core infrastructure in place, automated processes setup within Task Manager gave essential time back to our employees. Overall, Exenta ERP Edition provided our company with all the right tools needed to move us forward. The main downside of Exenta ERP, is the lack of integrated BI Tools, dashboarding, analytics and AI functionality. It has been noted that these components are being offered in a relatively short time frame. This will be reviewed when released. I would say the only other downside is that the system is not web based. Although using a client application may be suitable for some, as well as using remote servers and or desktops to connect to the system, most new employees have commented that they are surprised that it is not web based. I have used the system for a number of years and the overall experience has been a very positive one. The team have always offered solutions to some of our bigger process issues. Exenta is designed to manage Apparel, with attributes like "size" and "color" driving their "style" data structure. Since we are a cosmetics company that does not use size or color in our data, we don't get to take advantage of the one of the best features they offer. Their report writer is outdated and not up to industry standards, but they granted us SQL access to our tables which allow us to use PowerBi tools to create the reports we need. Exenta is a true ERP that is designed the move a product all the way from development to delivery. I love the way we can customize it to fit each person in our organization, because everyone uses it differently. The customer support is exceptional. Reporting: The built-in reporting is weak. It’s rigid, outdated, and requires heavy customization to get real insights.

Post-Acquisition Costs: Since the Aptean acquisition, every enhancement or even small adjustment feels like an extra charge. The “nickel and dime” approach is frustrating and makes the system far more expensive than it should be.

Dependence on Consultants: The real key to success with Exenta isn’t the software—it’s having the right consultant. A strong consultant can make the system work for your business, but without that expertise, Exenta is difficult to leverage effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Prima is highly flexible and adaptable. A huge amount of work was put in by the Prima team in understanding our business and tailoring our ERP system not only to our market but specifically to our business. Prima is fundamental to all aspects of our business and we believe that it gives us the edge over our competitors.

The simplicity of Prima to use has enabled us to train new members of staff in a short amount of time to the point where they not only become proficient but excel in using it. For which we are very grateful.

We believe that the Prima staff are great to work with across the board. Whether that be at a support, professional services, development project management or account management level. We always feel like the staff we deal with are dedicated to providing us with the best solution to any given scenario.

Prima staff are always very good at explaining issues and fixes to us. With a broad base of staff we are happy that things are explained in a way that makes sure we are happy with and fully understand what is going on.

At times it can be tricky to keep a real-time track of how many support hours we are using against our budgeted spend. It would be great to see some form of running total against each ticket we create.
