Build your app rapidly for multi cloud deployment. Why choose AppScale? Our platform combines the benefits of the serverless development model with the application portability to deploy anywhere. Public cloud platforms like AWS Lambda, Google App Engine, and Heroku make development easy but lock you into their cloud. Open source platforms like Cloud Foundry and OpenShift offer application portability with high-level APIs across multiple infrastructures but are not easy to operate. Platforms like Kubernetes and Nomad also provide application portability, but force developers to interact with the complications of lower-level, server-centric abstractions. AppScale automatically configures deploys and scales these services along with you . The unique function implements the Goole cloud platform app. **What do you dislike about AppScale?** While using off AppScale I found out that AppScale have a little buggy. For better connections with prospects, it provides standard tips that the formation of the representative body of the email that it was a bit complex work but now with using AppScale it has become a quick and simplified one. On regular basis, professionally designed emails are sent and received. Its multiple functions and its various options are almost great that can easy for us because we have to use for such purposes and also it can be used for doing this work. After all, it provides fantastic features for our business. It can be conducted on AppScale implement by taking two-variable products because its adaptive content is also constructed and it redesigns based on users interest. This implement can significant offers are conveyed through landing pages on the client browsers. It has a new set of subscribers that are managed accordingly and categorically placed. **What do you dislike about AppScale?** The one thing around this implement is that it is a bit confusing when we looked through its significant attributes but its multiple difficulties raised in terms of building an email. It is not enough tools that we were able to customize the whole thing. It has the integration of different applications that should be included in its system to increase exposure but it can be annoying for checking the overall status but the feedback forms were not available and the customers can't record their complaints freely. It has too many difficult options so our company created too many categories but it is not possible to make it all but unusable and it is difficult to keep updated when groups and categories change. **What problems is AppScale solving and how is that benefiting you?** AppScale is suggested to all types of companies that are either new or old because the productivity rate of this application is significantly higher. What I like most about the AppScale platform is that it allows me to effectively and efficiently manage workflows and tasks. Besides, AppScale Platform provides a user-friendly dashboard that is extremely helpful to manage activities, tasks, and processes that make up my daily work life. What attracted us most is that it is a serverless platform that helped us in creating applications either web or mobile. And also on any infrastructure. With its features, we can build any application that multi-cloud deployment and it has enabled us to transfer our google app engine code here on AppScale with little alterations. and we didn’t need to rewrite our code .and its expert team is very supportive and efficient and above all AppScale is an open-source, this too is a pleasant feature. **What do you dislike about AppScale?** AppScale is a wonderful product but there are few things that I want to highlight firstly its price is high which makes it unaffordable secondly we want them to modify its documentation area. **What problems is AppScale solving and how is that benefiting you?** AppScale is one of the best software of its type. we have been using it for some time and have found it helpful in creating cellphone and web applications using any infrastructure and the way it has enabled us to transfer the google app engine on it with very few changes is also amazing. Only just its high price and its documentation area are its weaknesses otherwise it is an amazing software in its category. ### 7. We haven't had to write code against the lower levels of AppScale (below the App Engine-compatible SDK it provides). **What do you dislike about AppScale?** We have to do more system administration work to keep our instances running. This includes things like ensuring the instances where we've deployed AppScale have enough free memory and disk space. This isn't really a problem because of AppScale -- it's just something that GAE takes care of for us automatically. **Recommendations to others considering AppScale:** If you have an existing solution deployed on the Google Cloud, AppScale will help you set up a clone of the service for users in China very quickly. **What problems is AppScale solving and how is that benefiting you?** The main solution AppScale provides us is the ability to operate in China with minimal changes to our code base. We use the Datastore heavily in our backend services, and if AppScale didn't exist, we would've had to rewrite the database layer from scratch, and likely also some of the mobile application code. ### 8. Appscale tools is hard to run with the AppscaleFile is is just a painful experience so we just use Fast-start but that is not for production, hopefully there's a production script to run Appscale smoothly **Recommendations to others considering AppScale:** I highly recommend using Appscale as it is the most mature and most actively developed Google App Engine implementation in the market **What problems is AppScale solving and how is that benefiting you?** Run a Search Engine powered by Google App Engine and run with Appscale ### 9. With hardly any changes, we could migrate a cloud(GAE) based hospital management solution to appscale. Great support by appscale team on community support emails. **What do you dislike about AppScale?** Documentation is an area of improvement. **Recommendations to others considering AppScale:** Go for it! Appscale is just not a library, but a whole platform to develop clustered private cloud solution. **What problems is AppScale solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were a pure cloud company before we implemented appscale. Appscale has enabled us to provide on-premise solutions to medium and large hospitals. ### 10. Basically, the ease to add machines to the server. The documents for setting up the system were terrific and the support system, that revolved mainly around Google Groups was fantastic. The fact that it was open source was an added bonus. It helped me learn a lot about the building process, and the hard-work that was put into building the platform. **What do you dislike about AppScale?** While I was working on it, it was predominantly available only on Ubuntu Precise Pangolin. Hopefully, it is available to be implemented on a variety of other systems. Also, a few bugs were present when setting up the environment. Thankfully, the Google groups was very active, and they fixed it up and released a patch whenever a bug was reported. **Recommendations to others considering AppScale:** Do try out this product. This is probably one of the best in the business for PaaS cloud technology. This being open source is another big advantage. It is on par with the Google App Engine performance-wise, and it should certainly get better with time. **What problems is AppScale solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were basically comparing the performance of the Google App Engine and AppScale by running the same transactions on both. AppScale promised the performance level equal to or better than the Google App Engine. We found out that AppScale, even though a little buggy, did indeed deliver the level of performance as promised. It was mostly on par with the Google App Engine's performance in this regard. ### 11. Not only the demos are compatible but also the documentation is better. It's a simple, the interface is clean and easy to use. I deployed my Java Application easily. Comparing with similar solutions, such as OpenShift and Cloud Foundry, AppScale was the easiest to setup and deploy. The platform is growing fast! Comparing with last year, the number of features increased a lot and the platform became reliable. **What do you dislike about AppScale?** Most of PaaS frameworks have been developed in 2014. At that time, I tried AppScale for the first time. It was still a new platform. **Recommendations to others considering AppScale:** Try it! It will allow you to create a hybrid cloud with Google Cloud Platform!
