## About Apache REEF
Apache REEF (Retainable Evaluator Execution Framework) is a library for developing portable applications for cluster resource managers such as Apache Hadoop YARN or Apache Mesos. Apache REEF simplifies development of those resource managers through Centralized Control Flow , Task runtime , Support for multiple resource managers , NET and Java API and Plugins.

The control flow is amazing! It is one of the best features.

It is primarily for Apache products, so not as flexible as the competition

My former team used Apache REEF for some applications.

**What do you like best about Apache REEF?**

It can be run on multiple environments that I feel is a good feature.Using HelloREEFYarn, we will see how to configure and launch REEF applications on YARN.

**What do you dislike about Apache REEF?**

Running HelloREEF on Azure Batch using .NET
Warning: Only Windows VMs are supported. If the feature can be extended to Linux and Mac it would be great

**What problems is Apache REEF solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I did not face any problems using Apache Reef, Realized a lot of benefits because of the performance
