Ansys ED is the best antenna modelling tool I've used in the recent past and I personally feel there's nothing closer that can do high speed and RF analysis much better than this. The analysis and simulation time is too high for basic configuration laptop making it harder for students to use it. For thorough multiphysics analyses, the Electronics Desktop also provides direct access to the entire Ansys array of thermal, fluid, and mechanical solvers. Within a unified framework known as Ansys Electronics Desktop, engineers may combine exacting 2D and 3D physics studies with system and circuit simulations. A single project can contain any assortment of the Electronics Desktop's items. For instance, you can integrate various design types within a single project, including HFSS, Circuit, and Icepak. Through dynamic linkages that combine 3D EM and SPICE circuit studies, schematics may be utilised to connect several field solver models and build a model of a high-level system. Best RFCAD." 4.5/5 What do you like best about Ansys Electronics? I have used other Ansys porducts such as Mechanical APDL, Ansys Workbench, extensions like LS-Dyna before and Altium as well. The user interface makes a huge difference in amy simulation softwares and over the years Ansys has honed this area. A critical part for anyone designing circuits. It requires a lot of processing power which is fine for the work it does but better if it can run smoothly with simpler simulation on laptop it would be great to check ideas.
