AlpacaRelay's email quality score feature is the one we use the most on the platform. After uploading a draft of any email, its weaknesses can be clearly seen before it is sent to clients. It would be great if the tool had a public roadmap. This would allow us to easily see what new features are coming or what work is going on in the backend. As a new tool, it's great, but some more essential features like sending emails directly from the platform, list management, and custom triggers are needed for our marketing agency's work. Its AI email generation feature is truly amazing. If I briefly tell AlpacaRelay exactly what I need, it immediately creates a beautiful draft. It now saves us a lot of time in setting up regular email campaigns and follow-up reminders for various clients at our marketing agency. Although the tool works very well, it does not have the full feature of direct email sending (ESP), which is why we have to subscribe to another third-party email service provider. The setup was stupid easy. I signed up one afternoon, drafted my spring recital announcement, and it was ready in 5 minutes. I'm not a software guy at all and the template editor just made sense without me having to dig through menus. The AI does most of the work to generate the email. I just tell it what we're announcing and it spits back something that actually sounds like a real person wrote it, not like a robot. My one wish is better ways to organize contact lists. Right now managing parent emails, student info, and sibling groups is kind of a manual process. If I could tag lists and search them I could send stuff to just the piano families or the beginner violin kids without having to manually pick everyone each time. The best thing about this tool is that everything is very straightforward. The template editor is so simple that I was able to draft and prepare a campaign email for our clients on the first day without any tutorials. The free plan of the tool provides very few AI credits per month, which is not sufficient for the regular work of an agency. I used to have an agency handle our template creation for email, but with this tool the AI gets a better result and it is so much easier to manage. I give it a quick brief about our vaccination reminders or new client welcome series, and it spits back complete drafts with subject line, body, call-to-action, the whole thing. The first version is always pretty close to what I need, and it is easy to fix what I don't like. The quality check catches weak spots before emails go live, so at least I know what's solid and what needs work. When I first ditched the agency all I could realistically manage was one generic monthly newsletter. Now I am sending targeted reminders, welcome sequences, and partner updates because each campaign takes maybe 15 minutes now. This is just so much faster and less expensive than my old process. The first time I logged in I spent a little while poking around to figure out where everything was. This AI really understands what I need. I usually use Mailchimp, but the AI design tools with AlpacaRelay are much better. Every single email looks great and matches my brand perfectly. The templates look really nice and you can upload your own existing HTML file which makes it easy to customise and improve designs. It's easy to export from AlpacaRelay, and the tool produces MJML so I never run into issues with the design behaving different in different email clients. The scoring system is what sold me. I upload an html file and it breaks down exactly what's working and what isn't. I get a clear set of recommendations that I can roll in with a click. Figuring out what works is always a bit of a guessing game, but this gives me a lot more confidence before I kick off a new campaign.
