I've found Aiven's support for Postgres to be much more full-featured than other platforms provide. The uptime and operational stability is (IMO) best in class for postgres, much better than you get from e.g. RDS. I love that it comes stock with a much wider set of postgres extensions than you get from other cloud providers - being able to opt in to using Timescale or PostGIS when you need to is key. There is a distinct lack of out-of-the-box alerting policies. It's possible to send logs into centralized storage, but the value of Aiven is opinionated defaults, not making customers figure out how to monitor their databases properly.
