AI storyboarding software Reviews & Product Details

Studiovity's AI Storyboarding software is an advanced generative tool that transforms script text into professional visual narratives. It is designed to bridge the gap between creative writing and technical planning by instantly converting scene descriptions into cinematic storyboard panels. Key Capabilities and Features - 1. Shot Division & Instant Generation: The AI analyzes script text—identifying characters, actions, and emotions—to automatically generate a sequence of visual panels. Users can highlight a specific scene description and generate dozens of frames in minutes, a process that traditionally takes weeks. 2. Maintain Character Consistency: A critical feature for visual continuity, the software uses advanced AI (including the Gemini 2.5 Flash Image model) to ensure characters and key props maintain the same appearance across multiple shots and scenes. 3. Creative Customization: After initial generation, users have granular control to refine the output: 4. Camera & Style Control: Users can select from various artistic styles, such as Cinematic, Sketch, Cartoon, and Anime. It also allows for tweaking camera angles, such as eye-level, high-angle, overhead, or over-the-shoulder. 5. Intelligent Editing: The system supports prompt-based transformations like "inpainting," which allows directors to add, change, or edit specific objects within a generated image. 6. Integrated Shot Specifications: Each storyboard panel can be detailed with over 30 specifications, including lens types, lighting requirements, movement (e.g., pan or static), and estimated durations. Workflow Integration - Studiovity functions as an interconnected "Production Funnel," where the storyboard module plays a central role in visualizing the deconstructed script. 1. Script to Image: The AI reads the screenplay to create the visual plan. 2. Collaboration: Storyboards can be shared with the Director of Photography (DOP) and cinematographers to streamline scene planning. 3. On-Set Utility: Through the mobile app, directors can access storyboards offline or use the integrated camera to capture and upload real-world reference photos directly to the shot list. 4. Exporting: Finished storyboards can be exported in various formats, including professional PDFs, image sequences, Excel files, or slideshows for pitching and production use.
