Agena Software Reviews & Product Details

Agena Software is web-based tax preparation software for CPAs, enrolled agents, and tax law firms that prepare U.S. international information returns. It focuses on forms that general-purpose tax suites support poorly or not at all: Form 3520 (foreign trusts and foreign gifts and bequests), standalone and substitute Form 3520-A for foreign grantor trusts, Form 708 for gifts and bequests from covered expatriates, and Form 7004 extensions. Agena applies the reporting thresholds and related-donor aggregation rules, carries trust data forward year to year, supports late and prior-year filings, and produces complete print-ready filing packages with IRS mailing instructions. Plans range from per-return pricing to unlimited annual subscriptions for firms. Agena is tax preparation software only and does not provide tax or legal advice.
