"Quick, Easy Conversion for Large Video Files"
5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?

Being able to convert extremely large video files to smaller file types to be allowed to upload to awarding bodies with file size limits quickly and easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?

The file type selection did not always reflect the correct file type required, for example converting to MPEG4 for changes to 3gp when you may think it should change to a standard mp4. (which awarding bodies may reject). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful, Super-Fast Encoding That Complements Premiere and After Effects"
5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?

The interface is a bit confusing at first, but once you get used to it, it becomes a powerful, super-fast app for encoding. Like other Adobe applications, it’s also very easy to get in touch if you need support; even when it crashes, you still receive actual help.

The price is very accessible with the Creative Cloud suite.

It’s a great tool to complement other apps like After Effects or Premiere.

whenever you render all AI features produced in other adobe apps media encoder render all with all facility Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?

Honestly, I haven’t faced any major issues while using Adobe Media Encoder. It does what I need efficiently, and I’m satisfied with its performance so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?

Media Encoder frees up time to keep editing videos while processing other videos at the same time. It also helps convert videos to different formats. Overall Media Encoder saves time. It's worth the investment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?

It takes awhile to learn how exactly Media Encoder works and the processes. Once you've used it a few times, it gets easier and faster to use. There are many extra features I don't use but better too many features than not enough. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential to video processing"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?

I like how seamlessly it integrates with Adobe After Effects. It is critical to maintaining manageable file sizes when exporting, and cuts out a LOT of the mental gymnastics of understanding every in and out of video processing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?

The least helpful thing is that it is a separate platform than other Adobe video-related products. If you don't have a subscription to the full suite of tools, then you have order ala carte and it can get expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Adobe Media Encore is the best, but..."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?

1. It makes it easy to export video in different formats and that helps a lot.

2. It's easy to use, and it does the job it's designed to do, which is to export a project.

3. I like that in one click we can change whether we want to use the cpu or gpu. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?

Whenever there is an update of my gpu it always gives me problems because I must have the newest version and sometimes I am not aware and I urgently need to export a video made in after effects, and I have problems with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Still a Top Contender"
4/5
What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?

Includes a wide range of industry standard encoding options for professional use particularly ProRes and Avid DNX codecs. The interface is particularly good with a concise layout that's fairly easy to understand especially compared to some of the other options in the space. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?

The app's load time can be sluggish depending on how your organization has its network built out. Media Encoder exports out of After Effects can also take a while to load into the software compared to exporting directly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
