"Why I like Acast"
What do you like best about Acast?

The most helpful thing about Acast is their Free program. It has many useful features that can help you get your Podcast started and rolling.

The 2nd most helpful thing about Acast is its ease of use. Menus and screens are clearly laid out and easy to work with. Setting up a podcast is a very simple step-by-step operation. No detours, nothing confusing. Adding your episodes is also easy and painless.

I also like how Acast automatically sets up your podcast on Spotify, Amazon Music, YouTube, Deezer, Podchaser, and Samsung. It is to manually submit your podcast to various high-profile podcast channels including Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, and iHeart Radio.

Acast also gives you the resources to easily submit your Podcast to other channels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Acast?

The least helpful thing about Acast is their link to Patreon. It is confusing and bombed several times when I attempted to use it. I ended up setting up a separate account on Patreon and loading the podcast episodes manually on that platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Not the company to host with."
What do you like best about Acast?

Early monitization not much else is redeeming about them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Acast?

They charge 50% commission on the ads. As well as charge to host on the site, and keep that little bit of info in the fine print. Some shady practices for a company but absolute terrible at customer service, they take a asinine about of money for the ads, also take three months to pay out and then if you try to leave they completely stop talking to you. Even though they still owe three months of back ad payments then remove your RSS feed so you can’t move to a new hosting site, over all around a pretty terrible company I can not reccomend enough NOT useing them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
