I can manage all of the units in a quick and easy to use interface, as well as be able to tinker with enough functionality in the management portal to tailor it to what my organization needs. The home screen details the status of every server that's in use, as well as the necessary information (load, memory, cpu usage, etc). You can also quickly see how many users are connected, quarantined, disconnected, which is a big help. **What do you dislike about Absolute Secure Access?** The interface design doesn't look super modern, and at first glance, you might think it was made in the 90s, but that's really about it. I guess sometimes things also can be hard to find if you don't know where you're looking, but the help documentation is extensive and can usually point you in the right direction if you're lost. **What problems is Absolute Secure Access solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed a robust mobile VPN solution that was adaptable to our current setup (multiple users in multiple domains), that was also able to be managed by 1 central team but able to give granular access to auxiliary teams. NetMotion was by far the easiest program that we demoed to spin up and get users access to the systems they needed to access, with an easy server/client install process. ### 4. I've always been able to reach support quickly and their technicians are very well versed in their products. The process was seamless to integrate two-factor authentication. I like the automatic reconnect feature. Cell service (for our officers) drops quite often in remote areas. When service is restored, NetMotion just reconnects without any user interaction. **What do you dislike about Absolute Secure Access?** I can say that I've not had any dislike for Netmotion or support for it. I will agree with some other reviewers and say I that I wish the cost was a little lower. **What problems is Absolute Secure Access solving and how is that benefiting you?** NetMotion Keeps our Police Officer's MCTs safely and securely connected to our VPN. Licensing costs are very high for the product which is a downside. Also the interface/client experience to the field user could be a little more polished. Overall it's been fine, but sometimes we'll get a user who feels like it's not as intuitive as it could be, such as when they have to right-click the tray icon to enable/disable or perform other client actions. **What problems is Absolute Secure Access solving and how is that benefiting you?** Session persistence with VPN is nice when we have applications that prefer that persistence in order to maintain availability to the end user. The downloads are kind of large so when transmitting an upgrade, it is a bit, but that is not a huge deal. **What problems is Absolute Secure Access solving and how is that benefiting you?** We used to use Cisco Anyconnect for the patrol cars. It also has a good interface for determining problem locations but requires manual configuration ( enabling location services on IOS ) which end users often times simply wont do. **What do you dislike about Absolute Secure Access?** For Network Admins the capabilities of mobility are obfuscated. Preemptive alerting would be useful as trending information on mobile devices. Lastly because IOS has privacy restrictions alot of the functionality only pertains to windows and android mobile devices. **What problems is Absolute Secure Access solving and how is that benefiting you?** we have low and spotty connectivity in remote locations. we have found that mobility helps greatly in those locations until we can build the infrastructure there. Some compression and content blocking has proven valueable. Inspection of the tunnel has given us insight into connections we (OPERATIONS) did not know our developers were OVER utilizing. ### 19. With NetMotion we accomplished it in a short time. Our 200+ devices maintain a perpetual connection to our network through its impeccably designed VPN. We temporarily switched to a different VPN once and it was a disaster. We learned the real value of Netmotion very quickly and will never switch again. **What do you dislike about Absolute Secure Access?** I haven't had any negative experiences with Netmotion. On the rare occasion, we experience an issue, their customer service is there to help. However, this can hardly be considered a real downside, as this is an issue with any VPN. **What problems is Absolute Secure Access solving and how is that benefiting you?** There are no current issues that NetMotion is looking into for us. Other than with opening tickets during the implementation of new servers, I don't think we've ever had any real support issues. ### 23. You can login and check the status of all the devices and see when the last time they logged in and many other useful tools. **What do you dislike about Absolute Secure Access?** The only trouble we have had was setting up the licensing on the server. We contacted support and they were able to help setup temporary licenses first before we were able to get our full licenses. **What problems is Absolute Secure Access solving and how is that benefiting you?** NetMotion has helped our cellular disconnecting issues. Previously with another VPN solution we would experience constant disconnects and NetMotion has greatly reduced that issue. ### 32. Easy to use, and monitor. The functionality of setting up devices and profiles makes it one of the best, and secure VPN solutions for my department, and our mobile MDT's. **What problems is Absolute Secure Access solving and how is that benefiting you?** Mobile devices, and 2 factor auth. For example, when assigning a user or device to a group, for the new user or device to show up in the user or device settings, you need to Mobility users and check off the new users then click configure. It should be fewer steps. **What problems is Absolute Secure Access solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our clients were required to have their application sessions uninterrupted in-between cell towers due to the critical timing of the tasks they had to perform. Netmotion allowed for that and more; like policy, web filtering and network access control to name a few. ### 36. But do not list supported processors. Such as Atom. And are very slow to adopt change. **Recommendations to others considering Absolute Secure Access:** Minus my lower indications of quality of support and ease of doing business. This was specifically for MS Surface Pro tablets that came with Atom CPU's. Netmotion kept saying they would support and fix and patch and everyone waited with no changes. The pandemic came and left leaving these very viable options for remote workers sitting on the table forcing consumers to send back these products for alternates that were either not available due to national shortages or too costly. Netmotion should have seen this issue and made this a priority to which only just recently they have corrected. I admittedly have not dove to deep into this. Policy order can be tricky, a call to support always cleared it up. Lots of policies are based on NIC connectors. In the age of docks and connectors, you need to be thorough to include these. We initially started with NetMotion Mobility due to the capability to sustain the connection during brief connectivity losses experienced by our Police Users while driving around throughout the day. Adding MobileIQ (formerly Locality) to the mix provides tremendous insight into mobile network connectivity as well in the event of outages or reports of connectivity issues we can provide the carrier with a heatmap of the area eliminating disputes over coverage gaps, latency and congestion. ### 46.
