I previously used R-Studio but am not an expert and was alwasys afraid my stats were wrong. This created a lot of anxiety since I didn't want to be blown out of the water for having messed up somewhere in my code after publishing (yknow, WHEN I actually got the code to work!). Because of XLSTAT, though, I'm so much more confident in my analysis. I recently finished my dissertation and I found this in the 11th hour and practically cried of happiness. It seriously makes your life easier and takes the edge off of the anxiety. Would highly recommend for people that aren't great at stats and want to move away from finicky programs like R-Studio. **What do you dislike about XLSTAT?** Since I am a student, even with the discount the price hurts my wallet. But... also very worth it. The user simply enters their data, can be helped by the software to prepare it, then the software does all the work and produces the results with a draft interpretation unlike other types of software. There is a free trial version, it is by her that I discovered and appreciated this software. The generated graphics are editable. Moreover, there are summary graphs of the results and it's great. I have recommended it to my fellow biostatisticians. **What do you dislike about XLSTAT?** I cannot enjoy the plethora of analysis offered by this software because I have not been trained in the use of this software. Users therefore can add datasets with ease without overly trying to figure out input formats as in other software types. Graphs are generated in familiar formats and can still be edited to the desired appeal. **What do you dislike about XLSTAT?** The help guides are sometimes not as intuitive as one would hope. There are sometimes issues with the tools crashing due to macros conflicts or ram requirements in larger excel sheets.
