# I see that XLSTAT offer association tools. I wonder if they can be applied to genetic association studies (?)

This is particularly focused on the field of genetics. Genetic-association studies are quite common these days to identify risk factors for diseases. The principle is based on variation and correlation which should be doable in XLSTAT framework. I wonder if they can incorporate any such function to facilitate geneticists.

Hi Luqman. XLSTAT Association rules function is mainly used in marketing to investigate associations between products in consumer baskets.
