Wavepad has a highly intuitive interface which ensures anyone can use it with ease. It lets you record and edit music, voice and other audio recordings. When editing audio files, you can cut, copy and paste parts of recordings, and then add effects like echo, amplification and noise reduction. Users are able to customize the home view and arrange each individual track on the screen as you wish, and I find that to be helpful for me. I use it primarily for vocal recordings, and I really like the effects you can add to help clean up any background noise (I don't record in a studio setting, so eliminating background noises is especially useful for me). **What do you dislike about WavePad?** The only complaint I would have about WavePro is that it is not optimized for use on IOS High Sierra. This probably isn't a big problem for most people, and I could solve the problem by simply updating to the latest version of IOS. **Recommendations to others considering WavePad:** In the research that I've done, this is the best software for organizing, editing, and storing audio recordings. I think you would be hard pressed to find a cheaper option that will serve you better. I've been using it for under 1 year, but I can not foresee any reason that I would shift to any program anytime soon. **What problems is WavePad solving and how is that benefiting you?** WavePad can be useful for manipulating recordings for convenient playback. In my line of work in the legal world, WavePad can be used to record depositions, in-person interrogatories, and any other important conversations that may need to be played back to an audience. It has a couple of effects for those who are looking for effects like reverb, echo and more... and these are pretty good, it has a really decent sound recorder and editor environment. I don't know how but they managed to create a nice User Interface for the software, It's by far better than audacity and audacity is way more heavier. I'm not saying this is the best audio editor, but you can edit your audio with this pretty easy. **What do you dislike about WavePad?** WavePad is great for basic audio edition and it even has some mid range features that are excellent but it's definitely not a good choice if you are looking for a high quality end and also it's not really free if you wanna use it for commercial purposes, you may have to pay for a full version. **Recommendations to others considering WavePad:** I like wavepad because it's a quick option to test audio settings and effects on tracks, it does the job. If you are looking for something powerful there are better options, and if you are looking for something totally free you can use Audacity. **What problems is WavePad solving and how is that benefiting you?** I normally use wavepad when I want fast results but without high end quality, I mean to test how a track would sound with an specific effect, it's great because it doesn't consume high memory so it's perfect to test stuff really quick. ### 33. It isn't a good app to use if you're working with high quality audio. Sometimes it takes a while to render or save some changes made to the audio file. **What problems is WavePad solving and how is that benefiting you?** When I want to work with small portions of audio clips, I use Wavepad to cut clips quickly and easily. ### 34. It handles imported files of many varieties and allows for export to numerous formats. **What do you dislike about WavePad?** Using the noise reduction features can take a long time to render, but the result is worth the wait.
