"Engineering Anywhere with Browser-based Freedom"
5/5
What do you like best about SimScale?

SimScale’s calculations are exceptionally fast, which really makes it stand out. Its LBM-based simulations run at lightning speed and feel far quicker than other software I’ve used. This strong performance seems to come from its use of cloud systems along with modern, advanced CFD techniques.

Beyond speed, SimScale also provides excellent online support. There are knowledgeable experts available, and I can rely on them to be responsive and ready to help when I need assistance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimScale?

While SimScale offers impressive speed, it’s worth noting that it may not include every feature you might expect. For instance, the software currently lacks a dedicated FSI solver, which can be a limitation for certain types of simulations. In addition, the post-processing section still has room to improve. "Intuitive and Easy to use!"
4/5
What do you like best about SimScale?

I like the project setup, with the ability to have multiple geometries and simulations. The speed of meshing and simulation runs utilizing cloud computing is a huge plus. Also the documentation, support and large user base is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimScale?

Maybe some of the CAD functionality could be improved. Would like to be able to roll back the feature tree or suppress features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fantastic Tailored Support: That Makes a Real Difference"
5/5
What do you like best about SimScale?

The support I’ve received has been fantastic. Since this is a complex process, even small issues can have a big impact, so having responsive help has made a real difference. It’s also been great that it’s cloud-based, which frees up resources and lets me log in from any of my computers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimScale?

The AI chatbot can cover the basics and provide intuitive information, but for more challenging processes, I still need some help from the experienced staff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clean UI, Powerful FEA/CFD, and Expert Support in One Platform"
5/5
What do you like best about SimScale?

SimScale is the easiest to use simulation platform that I've used. I love that the user interface is clean and clear, and that you can do good quality defeaturing and meshing along with FEA and CFD all in one place. It accepts CAD in all formats I expect.

The FEA capability is very high now (great implicit solver) with the Non Linear Mechanical simulation type.

I also often use the chat feature to talk to SimScale's simulation experts who always give good advice and help get to the bottom of the problem at hand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimScale?

It doesn't yet have feature parity with some of the other big simulation tools, but I generally find that I can simulate what I want to in SimScale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowers Fast, Easy Simulation for Product Development"
5/5
What do you like best about SimScale?

I use SimScale at my hydrogen production startup and appreciate how it simulates structural and fluid flow phenomena, guiding our design process and speeding up product development. SimScale's cloud computing capabilities allow us to run parallel simulations without needing expensive in-house computing. I like the user interface; it's easy to use and very powerful for a browser-based tool, making difficult physics simulations less intimidating. The consistent setup flow across different physics types and straightforward meshing, with a reliable automesher, save me a lot of time. I find it convenient to access SimScale on any device, including my phone, to check simulation statuses and rerun cases if needed. The initial setup was very easy, and the trial was sufficient to get up to speed. Overall, SimScale has been a valuable tool in our operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimScale?

There are some results settings missing in the multipurpose solver that I would like to see such as field calculations or isovolume specific statistics. Also the CAD editor built in can be frustrating to use, specifically that selection groups cannot be edited and also that the CAD editing steps in the middle of the tree cannot be edited without deleting all subsequent steps. "Versatile Online CFD Tool with Stellar Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SimScale?

I really like that SimScale is online, which means I can open it anywhere and compute multiple simulations. This is particularly helpful because I often need to run 10 simulations simultaneously and compare them, saving me time. Additionally, the support team is very helpful, making the initial setup quite easy with their assistance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimScale?

The postprocessor interface is great but there's room for improvement. Sometimes, the Y axis is set to be pointing upwards, and I have to keep switching it. It would be nice if we can change the configurations and work with the Z axis pointing upwards. There are still things that need to be done in other postprocessors from other programs, like extracting the velocity data from an area to use it as an inlet in another simulation. "User-Friendly, Robust Performance with Great Integrations and AI"
5/5
What do you like best about SimScale?

User friendly, simpler but effective, lot of options, robust, accurate, awesome performance, best integrations modules, pricing is decent compare to other softwares, technical support engineer plate vitol role in ordert o understand software platform best, and Ai intelligence integaration is also helpful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimScale?

actually its quite perfect and finding disorderness in simscale is bit difficult till now i haven't got any problem regarding anything so there no reasons to dislike it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effective Tool with Room for UI Improvement"
3/5
What do you like best about SimScale?

I like the direct connection between SimScale and Onshape, which allows me to import models straight from Onshape into SimScale. It's much quicker and saves me from having to export a model from Onshape and then re-import it back into SimScale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimScale?

The mesh analysis in SimScale is clunky and needs quite a lot of work to make it more slick and easier to use. The initial setup was fairly lengthy because I wasn't an expert in computational fluid dynamics or finite element analysis, and I needed a lot of interaction with the service team to get up and running. "Best-in-Class CFD Models in an Easy-to-Use Platform"
5/5
What do you like best about SimScale?

SimScale has some of the best computational models for CFD analysis within the available software, and it is also easier to use than traditional CFD software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimScale?

Cost, it is also just about the most expensive in the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
