They have recently brought in dark mode for the editor, which really helps when working in the evenings. They have download option where one can choose a required size upto 5x of the current design which is a really handy time saver. They have a beautiful and wide variety of pre-made designs and illustrations, including pre-made designs for book covers and email headers. **What do you dislike about Pixelied?** Currently, they have create design option, in which I can put custom dimensions but they don’t have an option to directly upload an image to edit without specifying the dimensions. The team is not responsive to queries and feedback, I sent a mail to both support and feedback but didn’t get any response, it has been over 1 month now. They mention that you can upload unlimited personal assets, but when I organize my assets or images in folders, one folder can only display 20 images at a time which is too low. They currently have no ability to share assets across workspaces. As an individual, I used Pixelied's free version, but its pro is cheaper than Canva's. Also, it has all features that I need, like SVG/Vector editing, mockups, typography options, etc. **What do you dislike about Pixelied?** Pixelied templates can do the magic. The templates have tons of posts, stories, and covers to consider, but sometimes it's making managing content a disaster. **What problems is Pixelied solving and how is that benefiting you?** Pixelied inspired me to improve my basic design skills in terms of font and colors. I like the idea that Pixelied does not have a crazely large range of colors, which made me choose and achieve my goal easily. You don't need any design skills to use it, because the templates are inspiring enough. Speed is important when designing, and Pixelied loads very quickly. What's more, it automatically saves your work AND gives you the option to manually save as well. This is a must if you have a spotty connection. My favourite part of this tool is the ability to use the illustrations it comes with AND upload your vector images. Why? Because you can control the colours of these. Say, for example, you want to upload a vector image of people, you can change the colours, including skin colour, to fit your design and brand colours. Speaking of brand colours, they have an amazing Blend feature allowing you to apply your brand colours in just one click. Working with clients, you need to be able to have different workspaces and have a brand colour for each of these workspaces. With Pixelied, you have this. This is a relatively new tool, yet they update what seems like daily. This means any feature that's missing, won't be missing for long. A tool is only as good as its customer support, which I'm happy to say is as responsive as the tool itself. In just one week of using the tool, I've requested several feature updates and they've all been implemented. I use Stencil, DesignBold and Crello, but this Pixelied replaces all of them and will be my main graphic design tool in the future. Finally, you can add users. I had to admit, create beautiful animated ads are done in just few minutes. This software has a bunch of customizable premade template and properly sized posts for every case you need. Even Crello or Canva could get some lessons from Pixelied. The background remover is terrific! it works perfectly. First impression was not just great, but awesome. Very easy to use. **What do you dislike about Pixelied?** If I was picky, I coud find some UI mistake and some template are missing format. But even with that, they made a fantastic job. It's so easy to use. Maybe some templates are not so accurate. I can touch up ecommerce product images, replace backgrounds, and easily create branded designs for social media, blog posts and other content. It helps me edit svg, create mockups, original designs for all platforms with auto resizing. I'm really happy. I can remove backgrounds from images in a single click or use it as a standalone tool without using the editor. They have templates for all social media platforms. The platform is easy to use and fast. It's easy to create graphic from scratch and/or use existing templates and modify the same. You also have ability to resize the graphic for various other social media platforms. Free integration with royalty free images from Unsplash is nice. The pro version gives ability to create different workspaces which is nice as we can separate designs according to different clients etc. Along with templates, it have several illustations and are going to launch Mockups soon. Pro version comes with Background remover feature which is nice - though its limited to just 10 per month at the time of writing my review. You can upload your own fonts etc **What do you dislike about Pixelied?** 1) The background remover comes with limited credits per month 2) No brand kit available as of now per client. So can't use brand colors per client 3) No option to add videos / sound to social media graphics. And this tool provides lot of templates that are unique to this platform. The platform is simple and easy to use and one can create attractive social media graphics for various platforms easily and quickly. ### 9. Both the pro and free account allow you to download your compositions, unlike Stencil where you're limited to 10 downloads a month. You must upgrade to pro to make the most of the tool, which is adding client fonts and resizing. The resizing is good - I can create multiple social media posts from the same design, which is a big time saver. The website is really quick too. **What do you dislike about Pixelied?** I would like over 9 background removal credits each month, please. There isn't an undo if you change the template by mistake by clicking on another one. Good range of modern and fresh templates to choose from and great background removal tool as well. Coming soon is a Mock-up feature which will save having to cross between open tabs, always great to work on as few locations as possible. **What do you dislike about Pixelied?** Struggle to work with it on iPhone 8 Plus or 11 Pro as not really mobile friendly in portrait mode but at a push you can work in landscape but on iPad Pro and Air it is a breeze - fast, efficient and results look great. **Recommendations to others considering Pixelied:** Try the free account which will give you plenty to go on in your evaluation **What problems is Pixelied solving and how is that benefiting you?** This adds another tool with great marketing templates and ideas for my social and marketing toolkit and because it is based on familiar tools I’ve already used, the learning curve is short to get going. The UI looks modern and the UX is just really good. When you are coming from Canva or Crello you will notice that Pixelied is very similar in the UI. However, Pixelied makes things easy by having pre-defined templates for all the major social media platforms. No more having to look up for the correct dimensions for your facebook header, twitter or blog post image just to name a few. Another feature that I like about Pixelied is the integration with Unsplash so adding images to a template is extremely easy. You don't have to open up another tab to find an image. It can all be done from the dashboard. They also incorporate a background remove which seems really popular these days to have. Not sure how well it does as opposed to Adobe photoshop but if its needed then it's very handy to have it there. **What do you dislike about Pixelied?** I saw that we only get 10 credits for background removals per month. It's a little bit on the low side and after this has been depleted I would have to go back to Adobe Photoshop or perhaps another free tool online to do this. **Recommendations to others considering Pixelied:** Try out the free version and you will see how easy it is to start using it and create some nice and beautiful designs you can use on your next social media project. **What problems is Pixelied solving and how is that benefiting you?** What Pixelied helps in is being able to create nice and beautiful designs for my social media graphics. Because of the pre-defined templates the dimensions are correct. The offer ready made templates so I don't have to start from scratch and use a template as base and go from there. Background removal not on par with other tools. It will certainly improve. Lack of search function is a serious one though. I'm sure they'll add one soon.
