The cloud execution and real-time reporting features save us a lot of time compared to setting up an on-premise solution. The biggest problem it solves for us is eliminating the overhead of managing test infrastructure. I like how little friction there is between writing a test and actually running it at scale. The ability to parameterize tests with large datasets is really valuable for us. The dashboard with metrics like active threads and response times (p90, p95, p99) provides exactly the numbers we care about when validating SLAs. Creating an account, setting up a project, and running our first test took less than a day, and the documentation was clear enough that we didn't need any support to get started. Loadium was a perfect fit for our small agile team of around 10 developers since we didn't have the bandwidth to manage heavy infrastructure. **What do you dislike about Loadium?** It would be nice to have tighter native CI/CD integrations. **What problems is Loadium solving and how is that benefiting you?** Loadium eliminates the overhead of managing test infrastructure and makes it easy to run performance tests on microservices with cloud execution and real-time reporting, saving us time compared to on-premise solutions. ### 2. There are not many platforms that support Gatling. We still have some JMeter scripts as some protocols are still not supported by Gatling. Loadium's support both with amazing features. May be most important part is about observability part cause this is the pain points about nowaday's performance tests. Emulate the behavior of your users and prepare your infrastructure, cache systems, and load balancers for the big launch. **What do you dislike about Loadium?** The UX experience could be better. The overall interface lacks some modern features. It gives the impression that the tool is not the best in the market just by the style and the interface, but in fact, its features are really good. **Recommendations to others considering Loadium:** I recommend testing the tool first. Loadium has a trial plan that is enough to give you an idea of what is capable of. The paid plans aren't cheap but are worth it because you can adapt your infrastructure accordingly before the launch time. **What problems is Loadium solving and how is that benefiting you?** Thanks to Loadium, we can prepare our infrastructure for special campaigns in our eCommerce websites, such as Black Friday events or Cyber Monday, where you can not really calculate how many users will interact with your project. ### 5. But it's functional. It's nice that it reads the codes while screen recording. I took the endpoints I needed from the recording and turned them into process I want to test in Jmeter. **What do you dislike about Loadium?** Only login is possible on the landing page. I want to access the wiki. It requires registration and the button is difficult to find out. I would like it to be an information source like Jmeter and more known. Spread the importance of the test. **Recommendations to others considering Loadium:** I recommend contact with them directly. And if you are not a test automation professional but enjoy inspecting some codes, then you'll have a great time. **What problems is Loadium solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am not very experienced with test automation. Despite that, it helped me easily run the performance test of the website we developed with my team. I have tried to use the Azure Load Testing tool before and i wasn't able to run my tests properly. Than we requested a demo from Loadium and we were amazed by its capabilities. **What do you dislike about Loadium?** Nothing to dislike, i enjoyed it. Apart from that, what I have felt good is the quality and accuracy of the results. There are a lot of load testing tools out there that are very cheaper than Loadium. But what I have felt is that you get the quality for what you pay, both in terms of support as well as quality **What do you dislike about Loadium?** I had tried to convert my Selenium web driver scripts to be used in Loadium. Although Loadium supports converting Selenium web driver scripts for functional testing, I was not able to successfully use it. **What problems is Loadium solving and how is that benefiting you?** Performance testing is one of the important things that you will have to do before going live or before a peak season. Performance testing and load testing do not happen always as it is almost a one-time task. Hence it is not financially viable to have an experienced team to load tests all throughout.
