Supporting multiple languages allow me to switch between languages without switching tools too. And since LanguageTool supports browsers via extensions, has native desktop apps, and supports keyboards on mobile devices, I get consistent grammar and spellcheck across the board. **What do you dislike about LanguageTool?** LanguageTool allows me to add new words to my personal dictionary, but doesn't allow me to classify the word and as such LanguageTool accepts words from the dictionary but disables grammar checking. Even worse, the words added are language neutral, but I added these words from a text that was written in a specific language. I love that it is configurable (in response to user feedback, we have tweaked many rules), multi-language, and available in an open-source project. The list of language rules available is also quite staggering, at least in English. Additionally, LanguageTool is surprisingly performant and even when I throw large chunks of text at it, it returns feedback very rapidly. Furthermore, on the one occasion when we have raised a concern with the developers (a spelling correction that was somewhat contentious), the open-source team was responsive and pleasant to interact with. **What do you dislike about LanguageTool?** LanguageTool's flexibility comes at the cost of a learning curve.
