The choice of operating system is also flexible, allowing Intrexx to be run effortlessly on more affordable virtual Linux servers. There is also free choice when it comes to the database. Since Intrexx is based on Java, external libraries can also be integrated and addressed in the process via Groovy, for example. This allows numerous requirements to be automated. There are open API information, a forum, and other resources to support you, such as an Academy and video learning platform. Basically, you can easily implement the business processes within Intrexx and have a powerful decrease of the time to market of a new product or application. Another thing that we appreciate with Intrexx is the stability of the platform and the bug-free component library Compliant with almost any DB ( We are using Postgres and MS SQL), But as well MySQL, Oracle and IBM DB2 are available System independent **What do you dislike about Intrexx?** Quite a high starter package, of 25 licenses, a lower level will increase the market approach on the platform. Another great feature is the permission system where you can easily configure who can see which application or use which button. Creating your own design for your intranet to get a focus of what is important and the best user experience is also a great feature. I also like the possibility to use code in Intrexx like Javascript, Groovy and Velocity (and even importing Java libraries) .. **What do you dislike about Intrexx?** .. and there is coming my dis-like: it is called low-code development but if you what to create some applications with more functions than just showing something or add/save some data in your data base you will reach the end of low-code quite fast. Individual pages can be designed directly in the application menu, and the associated processes can be developed through the process menu. Logics, such as checks on inputs or changes to records at the database level, can be implemented using JavaScript, Groovy, or Velocity. **What do you dislike about Intrexx?** When troubleshooting, Intrexx sometimes feels like a black box, so I would occasionally wish for more informative error messages in the log files. While you work on user management in other platforms, this comes out-of-the-box with Intrexx. A connection to Active Directory with single sign on is ready within 10 minutes. In 95% of the cases, the frontend can be set up only with drag and drop, and it is completely responsive. From my experience, responsive development is even much faster with Intrexx. All possible elements such as input fields, buttons, checkboxes, sortable lists, tree structures, diagrams, tables, filters are in a library and are configured in a minute. The data structure is created directly when the front end is set up. In reality, you don't have to deal with the database itself, since Intrexx automatically creates all tables and data fields in the database. In the rider ‘applications’ you can create and customize the frontend of your application just by dragging and dropping elements into the interface. In ‘process’ you can create smart workflows. In this case coding skills in Groovy (close to Java) are of great advance in order to use the full potential of this feature. With the help of the rider ‘users’ you can manage all users and the usage rights for your applications. In ‘design’ you can create or customize your layout with CSS. Due to the structure no HTML is needed. With the rider ‘integration’ you can easily arrange with ‘connectors’ your data exchange. Intrexx can consume or return flawlessly data with e.g. OData, SAP, IBM Lotus Notes, Microsoft Sharepoint and many more. **What do you dislike about Intrexx?** It is important to keep in mind that it is a low code and not a ‘no code’ platform.
