## Filemail Reviews
  ### 1. Effortless Large File Sharing with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jovany R. | Information Security Administration Section Head, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Filemail?**

What I like best about Filemail is how easy it makes sharing large files without the usual limitations on size. The drag-and-drop interface is straightforward, so you don’t have to mess around with complex settings—just upload and send.

**What do you dislike about Filemail?**

One downside of Filemail is that its free version has limitations on the file storage period, so files expire after a set time unless you're on a paid plan. Also, while the service is generally reliable, occasionally, there can be delays in large file uploads if the network isn't strong, which can be frustrating when you're in a rush.

**What problems is Filemail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Filemail primarily for sharing large files with colleagues and clients that are too big for email attachments. It’s especially useful for transferring high-resolution media files and bulk data quickly and securely.

  ### 2. Large file mediator service with a good app but icky cloud service.

I actually like the idea of an email app that lives in a coputer so it's faster to start as opposed to opening the browser and...

**What do you dislike about Filemail?**

At first the web version failed a number of times.

**What problems is Filemail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a large attachment service and it securely transfers ones documents to the adressed party.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Subin K. | Marketing Analyst, Human Resources, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Filemail?**

One of the unique features of Filemail is that it doesn't require users to register or sign up to use the service, which means that we can send files without creating an account. The platform also offers businesses a customizable download page and a white-label option. Furthermore, it allows us to send large files up to 50 GB for free. It is designed for those who need to transfer large files frequently and securely. The platform also claims to provide high-speed file transfers with end-to-end encryption and secure file storage.

**What do you dislike about Filemail?**

Filemail has some downsides that users may find limiting or inconvenient. Filemail currently does not offer a mobile app, which may be inappropriate for users who need to send files from their mobile devices. Additionally, while the platform provides some customization options, the level of customization is limited compared to other file transfer services. Finally, the free plan does not offer password protection for files, which may concern users who need to send confidential or sensitive data.

**What problems is Filemail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Filemail solves the problem of sending large files too big to be attached to an email. Many email clients have size limits on file attachments, which can be a significant limitation for professionals who need to send large files such as high-resolution images, video files, or other multimedia content. Filemail provides a secure and efficient platform for sending large files up to 50 GB without worrying about email attachment size limits. Filemail offers end-to-end encryption and secure storage, which can benefit users who need to send confidential or sensitive data. Finally, Filemail allows users to send files without creating an account or downloading any software, making it a convenient and hassle-free solution for sending large files.

  ### 4. Filemail saves the volume of our Mailbox

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akanshya A. | Customer Support Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Filemail?**

I admire the ease of Filemail that lets us quickly send or receive any files and documents regardless of their size and volume. With its multi-user plan, our entire team members can have their dashboard to exchange files and documents of any size. Furthermore, it is also possible to secure files by setting up the personalized password from being hacked or misused.

**What do you dislike about Filemail?**

Even though Filemail does not limit the file size with its multi-user business plan, it, however, there be frequent interruptions with poor internet connection as it entirely relies on the quality of an internet connection. Also, this tool becomes quite expensive in comparison to the value it delivers upon adding each additional user.

**What problems is Filemail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Filemail has become an easy and most accessible way to directly receive and send files to and from various users over the internet without opening a mailbox every time. Using this software, we can transfer unlimited files with no size restrictions; as a result, it saves the volume of our mailbox.

  ### 5. You don't need email to exchange files anymore

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shima R. | Creative Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Filemail?**

Below are some of the super helpful features of Filemail:
a.) It Allows sending large files up to 5GB even with its free plan.
b.) It supports cross-platform meaning available for Web, Mobile, Desktop, and Tablet users too.
c.) It secures file transfer through data encryption, 2-factor authentication, and virus scanning.

**What do you dislike about Filemail?**

Some of the limitations of using Filemail includes:
a.) Even with its paid plans, the file storage capacity is limited.
b.) Its complete dependency on the internet dramatically affects file transfer and download speed.

**What problems is Filemail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

On the whole, Filemail is a pretty helpful solution for exchanging large files instantly yet securely through the internet from any device such as mobile, tablet, desktop, or laptop. Now, we no more need to rely on the mailbox every time for sending or receiving large files.

  ### 6. Ideal for sending small files not big ones

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pratima G. | Customer Relationship Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Filemail?**

Filemail has a sleek dashboard that lets me either send or receive various types of small to large documents and files within few clicks. Furthermore, I love its feature to either send files or documents directly on receipts email or share through a link.

**What do you dislike about Filemail?**

Though Filemail allows sending and receiving larger files, it depends entirely on the internet connection speed and might fail in the middle of the process when the connection goes unstable. Also, there is no way to edit or modify documents since it does not have an inbuilt document editing feature.

**What problems is Filemail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Filemail has been an excellent solution for sending smaller files and documents and accessing them from multiple devices such as laptops, mobile, and tablets as it supports cross-platform. Now, I don't have to carry an external drive as it also stores the sent and received files.

  ### 7. Big files, fast and safe.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pedro T. | CEO at The Jump Productions, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2021

**What do you like best about Filemail?**

I work on the video industry, and Filemail, it allows me to send really big files. Also, the upload/download is fast.

**What do you dislike about Filemail?**

I don't really have something I dislike. Of course, a slighly cheaper yearly plan would be always welcome!

**What problems is Filemail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The list of tools to share files with other users is really big, but if you want to send really BIG files, there's not so much to choose from. Some of the ones I did test, were too slow,
and some others, too expensive. Filemail is the perfect mix of price + speed for my needs.

  ### 8. Solution for sending & receiving small to large files from single dashboard

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laxmi S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Filemail?**

The most beneficent feature while using Filemail is that it is possible to send and or receive large documents right from its dashboard rather than using email or any cloud storage solution. Additionally, it is also possible to directly access sent or receive files on its dashboard.

**What do you dislike about Filemail?**

The major pitfall while using Filemail is the files automatically get expired after a specific time. Also, while sending any files, there's no way to securely transfer files using special keys offered by other alternative files sharing solutions.

**What problems is Filemail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Filemail has become a one-stop solution for quickly sending and receiving large files without using mailbox or cloud storage tools and from anywhere and at any time with an active internet connection.
