We used to screen-record demo videos and then edit them to share with users on how to use the product. That process was time-consuming for us because we had to edit the videos and try to make them interesting for users. We also used Adobe software to create these video demos, which requires software knowledge and powerful systems to work on. On top of that, these demos sometimes didn’t grab the user’s attention, and users often don’t have time to watch the full video. But Storylane helped a lot with this. Anyone can work on it, and it makes the demos more interesting, more to the point, and less time-consuming for both us and the user.

Storylane makes it very easy to create and edit product walkthrough demos. It accurately identifies interactive elements in our product--a web application--to make some level of interactivity possible in the demo. Going back and editing demos (for instance, if there was a change to the UI of the product) is also simple. Finally, I like how you can embed the demos in a webpage.

Storylane is easy to use and was quick to set up. It felt intuitive and relieved our Product team from needing to build a tour in app.
