# How do I deploy nested metadata from a backup snapshot? We take nightly snapshots of our environments for disaster recovery, which are committed to a separate repository. Suppose a bad change to an Opportunity field was deployed to Prod, and the next day I want to restore that field from a previous version in the backup repository. If I identify the commit with the version of the field I want and run a Snapshot difference with that commit as the source, I can see and deploy the Opportunity object listed in the difference, but I cannot see or select individual field on the Opportunity object.
