# Which cleaning services software works best for small residential crews vs. larger commercial cleaning operations?

Kickserv (4.5 stars, 181 reviews) skews small business. Reviewers point to the fair monthly price and mobile access as the fit for a small crew without much overhead.

The Cleaning Software (4.9 stars, 5 reviews) sits in between. It's built for residential cleaning specifically, but its reviewers range from small teams up to a mid-market operator running $8.6M and 10 to 24 staff, so it stretches further up than the small review count suggests.

WinTeam by WorkWave (4.1 stars, 26 reviews) is where the review base turns commercial. Over half its reviewers are enterprise-size, describing it as an ERP-level system for financials, payroll, and workforce management rather than simple scheduling. The tradeoff: a steeper learning curve and reporting that takes real effort to customize.

I think the crossover point is less about crew size and more about operational complexity. Multiple sites, contract-specific staffing, payroll rules, inspections, and client reporting can push a cleaning company toward heavier software before headcount alone would suggest it. I’d map those workflows first and use employee count as a secondary signal.
