&lt;p&gt;&quot;Slows the line&quot; actually has two different causes that get lumped together. One is per-seller speed on a single sale (AudienceView not showing the full seating map is this kind), and the other is whether several sellers can work at once without colliding (Spektrix reportedly not handling simultaneous transactions is this kind). Which one bites depends on how many windows you open on a busy night: if the system serializes transactions, adding four more staff at four more windows won&#39;t clear the line, since they&#39;re all effectively waiting on the same lock. &lt;/p&gt;
