Worth separating what each of these actually does before weighing them by rating, since SQL Toolbelt&#39;s top score and Harness&#39;s much larger review base aren&#39;t really answering the same question. SQL Compare is fundamentally a verification tool, confirming environments are in sync after a change happens. Harness&#39;s canary and blue-green deployment strategies are a release-execution mechanism, controlling how the release itself rolls out in the first place. For a team specifically trying to increase release frequency safely, the execution mechanism is probably the bigger lever, since verification catches problems after the fact rather than preventing risky rollouts from happening broadly in the first place, even though it&#39;s the option with the slightly lower rating and much larger sample.
